@Confidence1000 here you go...I love Lofton. I get excited every time he's on the field. Kid plays like he loves football. Fun to watch.

We are on the same page. He’s a good player and our coaches obviously thought soShavers is the least of my worries, for the record. I don't know enough about Nebraska but I felt they have recruited well enough under Rhule that he's playing over someone decent if he's on the field. Maybe I'm wrong.
This is so lame already. Joke was funny like 4 years ago. Don't even know how it still has traction on the board.@Confidence1000 here you go...
Minnesota is my home state. So I've always had a soft spot for the gophers. Occasionally they will land a top local kid and he becomes like a God there. I can see why some guys would get the appeal. The loyalty to state schools from small town kids in the Midwest can be wild. 9 out of the top 10 recruits in Iowa this class are going either Iowa or Iowa St. On the other hand, only 1 out of the top 10 in Indiana is committed to IU. I'd expect them to have some major flips near signing day.
Do we value DBs like that tho?Literally throw bags at anyone who plays DB
Have been told they can't win or lose games.Do we value DBs like that tho?
The kid from Minny, safety is a friggen baller. He owned the Army All American game too.
We have a huge roster opening for a bad *** white boy. We've always had one on our runs.Pay that man, he is an animal.
This sounds like revisionist history a bit.4 of them low end 3 stars, until Lucas earned his 4th star very late, and a can't miss 5 star.
Brown - 546 ranked player overall
Shavers - 614 ranked player overall
Lucas - 331 ranked player overall
OJ - 735 ranked player overall
Bigger concern over the south florida decline is that our staff didn't recruit Isaac Brown, had Shavers committed and dropped him, let Wisconsin come down here and get Lucas committed and while they did want him and recruit him - they were late. Got OJ luckily so credit to them for that.
Can't go 1/4 when you could have easily been 4/4. At worst, when these players are in your back yard you have to hit .500. I'd love to have Brown or Lucas the next 2 years. Shavers, admittedly it seems I was wrong on him as well. Can never have enough instinctual linebackers and we let him walk.
I know this is kind of a topic of discussion. I’m actually most worried about this as a theme within the program. Now I know what the Cormani situation was, which makes me think we do value Db’s. But **** there are some head scratchers rn. I know they value slime highly too. We will probably bring in 2-3 dbs from the portal this year, to go along with a strong freshman class that will make a big impact imoDo we value DBs like that tho?
Shavers wasn't going to sniff the field at LB here this year.
That's not the point of the comment I made... and you know that.Would he miss more tackles than Mauigoa?
Think the entire state of Florida is on the decline tbhMaybe I spoke too soon on South Florida declining. Brown, Smith, Shavers, Lucas. You could easily throw OJ Frederique in there, too,

Good point. Shavers look good, but you can't take everyone and I like the guys we got.We also landed Adarius Hayes and Bobby Pruitt who both look really good
Shavers is playing great and that’s awesome, but I don’t think he would be playing much here if at all just given our depth
lol we do need one at linebacker or safetyWe have a huge roster opening for a bad *** white boy. We've always had one on our runs.
That jacorey guy on Nebraska is nice tooMaybe I spoke too soon on South Florida declining. Brown, Smith, Shavers, Lucas. You could easily throw OJ Frederique in there, too,

Yeah, wishful thinking for sure but I’m sure many will try.
