Two of Miami's top targets at TE will be on campus: Heze Kent (Brunswick, GA) and Zachery Turner (Dallas). Kent is an in-line monster at 300 pounds and Turner is a matchup nightmare as a jumbo WR. The staff is very high on both.

So it’s more of the kid wants to play TE rather than OT and the staff is just saying ok we’ll give you a shot at TE?

Eric Winston had that same story, everyone else wanted him as an OT, and he didn’t want to play it, and we allowed him to come in as a TE, and then we had people showing him how much more money he could make as a OT in the NFL vs TE back then and the rest was history

It's an odd stance for this kid to still insist on being a TE knowing he'll primarily be used as an in-line blocker. Weird stuff.

Until he slip out into one of the redzone flats for a few expected TD's.

The young is a red zone nightmare waiting to happen. Not to mention a 1st down move the chains option as well.

Go Canes

Are you saying he should choose to move to OLine or DLine or something? Not really sure what you're trying to say.

0% chance this kid is a TE entering his 2nd year in CFB. He is going to be 315, and it will be time to have a conversation with him.

Could he stubbornly play TE and be athletic enough to survive at it in the ACC? Probably. Or he could lean into the OT position and let Mirabal give him a chance at generational wealth.

What I PRAY we DON’T do, is not let this kid grow naturally and put him on some strict restrictive diet plan eating 3200 calories a day just so he can hover around 280 and do this TE thing and lose the kid money. That aint it.

This kid will be at OT, and a **** good one because he is pretty special athletically but he will have to learn the position obviously. Sign him up.

Can't see it…TE tape barely looks a step above those few plays on Artevius Jones tape where he played tight end on his tape. .
