It’s absolutely a win for the other team, but also has absolutely nothing to do with a VT gameplan that you referred to as “perfect”. It’s ridiculous to say otherwise. It’s not an excuse, if cam doesn’t throw the int and were up 21-7, the game is over.

Yeah I actually thought this had the potential to be one the worst losses in school history for them.

But I was wrong, how many years have a watched a trash VatECh go toe to toe and even beat a really good Miami team?

I should have known better.


This game may have lost it’s national relevance but it still matters a lot to them Pry even said as much when he got the job.

They played it like a rivalry game.

We need that run game to start clicking, immediately. Another thing we don’t need is our QB continuing to take hits. He was a man today, but we need to play complimentary football.

I watch games different than some. I’ve seen red flags all year. Like guys running wide open in the secondary , the OL getting zero push in the run game and the offense helping to cover up some of the issue with the defense. Tonight I saw 6-8 plays that were layups with a more accurate qb. Then I think about Brohm and that offense. Brohm will not allow us to pin our ears back and to be one dimensional. USF exposed some things and VT exposed a lot more. Now sure how motion to the wr is an automatic first down on third down against man. That said Wins are the ultimate cologne

5 games in and I'm accepting this is who we are with Cam Ward. We're a pass happy air raid team

I'm surprised Mario is letting this happen but Dawson/Ward got full control of the offense. Those 3rd downs and longs were not fun to watch tonight

I’m a big fan of Guidry but we got WORKED over last year and like you’re saying, sometimes certain matchups are just tough

I think the offense will give us a punchers chance but there will be some more heart attacks coming

On the flip side last year we lose this game by 17+

How do we correct the red flags? Do you believe we have the personnel to correct them?

Every game, we wait til the 2nd half to get the ground game running. And it's annoying af. The plays are there to be had. And ffs get CJJ the ball in space on a toss or end around or jet sweep more often. Enough of the motion into a go route

That’s why you spend on a qb. He covers up a lot of flaws even his own.
