Hey guys

VT took the ball away. That’s part of the game. How is one using that as an excuse for a close game ? That’s how cam rolls and we have to accept that. That’s been his reputation for years. I’ve never hit the excuse of “ but we had three turnovers “. The defense TOOK THE BALL AWAY. This isn’t Christmas or a charity. Cam will giveth and cam will taketh away.
I agree. My only gripe is that Miami goes up 21-7 and puts Va Tech to bed early with that TD to George and Cam never throws the pick…if the refs don’t call back the TD on a phantom holding call.

You’re acting like we had five turnovers lol.

1 of them took points off the board, and 2 of them resulted in 14 points within a few plays. That's going to hurt.

I think we've come back down to earth. We knew our CBs were a weak point and they finally got exposed, especially 25 whom we all know should be a backup only. We should have known Bell wasn't ready to take on a top pass rusher. We knew something was off in the run game. I admit I was flabbergasted at our inability to stop the outside run, didn't expect that. But all our known problems came to roost in one game, and a few more unexpected ones showed themselves.

And while you're right that Va Tech is mediocre, their best game with some lucky bounces makes them very dangerous. Vandy should have beaten Missouri and Rutgers just beat Washington. Va Tech is right in that pack of scrappy teams you cannot look past. I said it in the writeups when everyone else was calling them ***. They're not ***. They're a 30-to-50 type team that is dangerous when you're shooting yourself in the foot.

didn't understand the hate, i thought the circumstances were obviously similar ... i always said let's see if our character is different ... i would say it is ... that play would have been miraculous vs bone headed (ga tech)
These buttholes either run their mouths like we’re the 86 bears then we’re trash or it’s nonstop excuses for not being the 86 bears on game night lol. You can’t have serious discussions. It must be nonstop sunshine or the cult gets mad. Not sure who’s worse the mopes or slurpers. Fact is this setup as a normal danger game for us and it was obvious if you’ve followed this program. You spoke truth man .

I feel like I’m starting to understand why that dude has a 1-10 record in one-score games.

🤷‍♂️

If I'm a Va Tech fan I am not happy with him. He really choked this game away. His coaching has sucked all year this year

So just that I have this straight. Our fans mocked , laughed at VT and acted as if we were a machine. I mean they lost to Vandy and Rutgers right ? But now it’s “ that’s college football bro”. Fact is we showed up flat as **** for a nationally televised game with everyone watching. On top of that a pathetic schedule so everyone is already looking to pick this team a part. We made a meh VT offense look like the greatest show on turf and got blistered in the secondary. I think they punted twice.

We have coverage , tackling issues and let’s be honest a big talent issue in the secondary. We saw today what happens when the DL is invisible. Hopefully everyone is healthy and Bain is himself .

I don’t think we showed up flat. Not even crazy about that term it’s thrown around so losely in the CFB space.

It’s about execution. The term “flat” is 99% used when a team isn’t executing in the early stages of a game.

We were executing and in position to take firm control of the game.

We get a holding call then cam threw a bad int and this game goes in a totally different direction.

But I do ageee the first 4 games definitely hide some flaws we all know are there.

1: Cam potential turnover prone games

2: no big true dominant WR threat on the outside

3: the secondary especially the corners

4: run game. Scheme plus blocking

Oddly enough this is the least physical I’ve seen this team look under Mario.

The corners didn’t fight to get off blocks and tackling was terrible.

They wasn’t considered dangerous all week and the one guy who had the balls to say it was murdered by the same posters making excuses.

I’m still absolutely shook they overturned that call

I was even watching the game with two Ohio St boosters that were pulling for Miami. Once they called it a TD on the field we were all like whelp it’s over

my jaw dropped when we got the call. I was texting my friends we lost and we're cursed

The last timeout was OK; that’s not what I’m referring to. After VT mishandled their clock situation, they were panicked & we gifted them 2 T.O’s to reset them.

With our inability to get lined up the last 2 weeks they prolly would have throw a TD between 3 defenders on that play….oh wait

Bro 3 turnovers is bad you're being ridiculous.
Y’all are being ridiculous using turnovers as excuses. One he was baited by the Dc / Db the other he was hit in the pocket. Some of you act like that’s not a win for the other team. I don’t hear that **** when we have have 3-4 takeaways.
