Hey guys

UM is not on the elite teams level. Idc how bad they beat USF and how close BAMA played USF. Still plenty of holes on this roster.
The offensive and defensive gameplan was trash. The selection of personnel is questionable. And UM still has holes at certain positions.

#1 - respect and appreciate what he has done and the plays he has, but if UM wants to get over the hump we now know he is not at level of player they need to get there.
#31 - y’all gotta tell me what he did bc I didn’t see him **** up, he just didn’t make that many plays.
25# - don’t even think he is a P5 athlete, slow, lacks athleticism and can’t tackle. He def played more than #29 and whoever made that decision needs to be slapped.
#6 - he is slow af. No wiggle or burst. I like RBs that run hard, shifty, and got burst…#21 and #28 got that. #4 they are about the same but he’s faster and has some burst through the whole.

DBs - none of them can tackle, the only players I haven’t scene whiff a tackle is #29 and #20. Thought not a lot of game time from #20, his tackling form is better from the small sample size.
DL - I don’t think what was coached for this game help them. The rotations were also questionable. U got to use your talent in spurts, to provide much needed juice and give your starters some rest.
OL- got their first test and they showed that they r not the Great Wall of China, was still able to provide Cam with enough packet time to pass on majority of drop backs and the run game came alive in the 3rd quarter. But they gotta improve and get more nasty. The DL they played was well above average.

On that last VT td, where the heck was our secondary... they had half an end zone to cover with qb running to the right for 10 secs ..

bad tackling. Let's be real tho. they dont call that third td back, we likely blow them out one its 21-7
Yes, but even after it was called back it was Cam that made the terrible int the very next play... We go up 17-7 there it still probably is a totally different game. Well maybe not totally different, cause we couldn't stop them from running (but maybe with them trailing they woulnd't have been running as much).... but I don't think we would have lost the lead at all...

OL- still needs work
One question for you. Did you watch the UGA vs Kentucky game?...

Flawed team? We get in one fist fight with 3 turnovers that’s solely on 1 player and now the team is flawed? Gimme a break. Defense played like crap, they took too long to switch the assignments on those motion flat routes. Other than that players gotta make plays. Kiko lets up a 50 yard TD when he meets a RB in the hole. Cam magic gives and takes away on that first fumble, his first INT was bad he got played by the CB disguising man.

If Dawson opens up this run scheme a little we’ll be fine. VT always plays us with everything they have.
Problem is there is no run scheme. Miami doesnt run between the tackles.......they run between the guards.

So just that I have this straight. Our fans mocked , laughed at VT and acted as if we were a machine. I mean they lost to Vandy and Rutgers right ? But now it’s “ that’s college football bro”. Fact is we showed up flat as **** for a nationally televised game with everyone watching. On top of that a pathetic schedule so everyone is already looking to pick this team a part. We made a meh VT offense look like the greatest show on turf and got blistered in the secondary. I think they punted twice.

We have coverage , tackling issues and let’s be honest a big talent issue in the secondary. We saw today what happens when the DL is invisible. Hopefully everyone is healthy and Bain is himself .

Inexcusable use of timeouts by us to continue to give VT an opportunity to adjust. Literally poor situational football where thank God VT couldn’t hang on to the rock.

A W is a W, but this was more on VT having a corch, too. We need to get this run game going ASAP, b/c we can’t continue to be one dimensional.

I think your second point is the most important for the rest of the season

They got away with alot of blocks in the back but look Barrow has played well but clark, Marley, etc these guys are rentals. Watch Scott and Jones are ready. Also, Kiko is limited, he can close plays alot of times.

Can’t save the day when we were in the position because you. Just saying.
38 points and the D was shredded all night. If you want to put the one turnover on Cam cool but the other they drove the ball. Cam is what he is, a gunslinger. He gives a lot and takes away some. If not for him being Superman we lose. The stats don’t lie. A meh VT offense shredded the defense and moved the ball at will.

Should we not celebrate our first conference game which was hard fought and close? We absolutely lose this game any other year in the past 20yrs.
The standard is the standard why are we celebrating barely being a team that lost to Vanderbilt? We got fans coming out of the stadium acting like they won the national title.

Yeah. our CB's are really bad. Powell cant tackle well. Hill is weak and Richard is just trash. OJ is a true fresh cant expect much. I hope brown makes it back.
