No, he's not. Plenty of DT's have been recruited. Some flamed out, some trolled, some didn't come, some are still developing, but they've always been recruited.

grimble was a bust. briscoe and ivery rather play video games than work hard. Pierre was not a big recruit. Earl Moore was a solid 3 star but he was pushed into action too early. Jelani is a top recruit who has the injury bug. they have tried.

Bostwick, Keef, Bain, Goldman...all recruited, didn't come.

They've tried. Criticize them for not getting top targets and having flame outs, sure, but it's ignorant to say they haven't been recruited.

Agree 100%. Miami's dominance has ALWAYS centered on great defenses - and on D it all starts with DTs. So getting more quality at that position is FAR more important than getting another RB. Especially since year in and year out SFL is loaded with talented RBs and other skill positions. Heck in his own high school backfield Cook was probably the 2nd best player.

Kamalu is legit. the other guys were last minute jag's/fill in's. no one claimed them to be superstar potential guys.

Bostwick and Keef went to schools they perceived were on top. Bain and Goldman werent really recruited as hard as them.

if we can keep Valentine, Moten, Jenkins.. add Wyche, Hertelou and potentially Cerenord. Wow. Talking about fixing a position.

Then you add the ends in Harris, Thomas, Jackson and keep Smith... Wowsers.

That is 10 on the D line. No Jags, except maybe Cerenord.

we havent been able to develop dt's because we took guys that need redshirts and played them. If Cerenord comes in too. Him and jenkins will redshirt. they will be more prepared.
