Nice thing is this sets the blueprint for what helped make Miami great in the past. The best assistant coaches and coordinators want to coach for UM because they know it gets them a HC job. You want a mix of diehard guys who think it’s their dream job like Mirabal, and hungry coaches who see this as a ticket to a D1 HC job. The Miami HCs embrace this.

I’ll take a pie in my face for criticizing him on a couple of post-game attitude situations, but he’s on fire post-season. He’s definitely a keeper, hope he’s around next year.

Totally agree. This guy is the goods. But you have to appreciate that he is ours for now. He could have been picked up by a team like Bama and we would have never had him to begin with. Enjoy him while he’s still here.

I would promote him to associate HC or something along those lines. Of course schools will come calling, but I would think that would help retain his services. Maybe!

Now that’s it’s over I’ll say the staff was very confident . They came in fully expecting to win. You can believe the players felt that and thrived off it .

One more year with him at best unless he’s holding out for a top tier gig which is totally possible.

He has Lanning, Smart, Golding trajectory written all over him.

The longer he stays the better for him… wherever he goes having sustained recruiting ties in Florida specifically SFL benefits him.
