We had a bus accident ( driver drove off the road but didn't hit anything) in Philly and the on board cameras showed only 23 people on board. BUT later there were over 50 lawsuits filed for damages

They may have some kind of deal with a credit card company or something. I get a couple of free ubers a month through mine. Yea, I know, it’s per month. It’s not like a huge deal, but still.

Uber is HUGE in NY/NJ so I would not be surprised if that was the case. The big 4 accounting firms in NY offer a lot their employees uber rides home if they work past a certain time(I believe it is 7) and a lot of the front office guys at Goldman, JP, etc. get Ubers to and from work(this includes guys that live in NJ which could end up costing 150 bucks per trip).

I know Amex Platinum gives you $200 in Uber credits per year. But the annual fee is like $550.

I don't understand how anybody can down vote this, 100% agree. His signing bonus was over 700k, he can pay for an uber. I get that many people do this and I'll admit I've had times where I shouldn't have driven, but you just have to be smarter, it can ruin lives
