****, Herndon

DUI laws in the Northeast are no joke. I know a couple guys in FL that have multiple DUI’s and one only served 60 days in jail after the third one. In the Northeast they don’t play. I believe he may automatically lose his license for 6 months, even before a trial. The cops may have confiscated his car pending a separate DMV hearing, could require an ignition interlocking device be installed, and cause him a world of aggravation for his first offense. He could see jail, but he won’t see prison. Not worth it!

Bad mistake, hope he bounces back from it . Didn’t expect that from him but I guess It could happen to anybody

Jets provide car service to their players at a simple phone call. This was dumb. No other way to say it. He will most likely be disciplined by the NFL too.

Yes the NFLPA provides all active players a program that will provide players with a sober ride at any time.

**** young'n! Praying he learns from this. Hopefully RL52 and other Cane alums are reaching out to him.

Bull f'n sht. You can't pin this on the school or "he didn't know better."

F that weak *** victim mentality. Everyone has seen the "drive sober or get pulled over" video. Every high school has DARE or health class. This dude is just a selfish mongoloid who ruined his life.

Lmao **** Mother against drunk driving pull ur skirt up

We got nerds in here talking about DARE videos in elementary school lol some of you clowns need to chill tf out.

Some ppl don’t have control of their thoughts and actions when they drink. That’s why you sound stupid implying that he should’ve made a better decision?? He was drunk what tf r u talking about?

Side note: I have driven drunk or under the influence plenty of times in the past and always made it home safely.

Everyone should have ingrained in their mind not to drive if they're drunk. There's no way someone can find and start their car and get it driving yet be too drunk to pull up their uber or call a cab. It was incredibly stupid and irresponsible of him and he's extremely lucky he didn't kill someone else or himself. And that't not something to brag about. Just because you've done it safely before doesn't mean you won't kill someone's child the next time you do it, that's incredibly selfish.

Out here in Arizona, if you get a 3rd in 7 years, you go to prison. (Not jail)

Yeah, there are aggravating and mitigating factors. Like someone else said, he caused bodily injury so that’s going to hurt him. My friend who did 60 days was let off easy because two of the DUIs were him passed out in his parked car after coming out a club. He wasn’t driving, but had the car on for the A/C. And the 3 DUIs were not within 10 years.

Herndon will be more than OK. His life isn’t “over” as some have suggested. He just needs to never do this ever again and he’ll have a nice, rich football career.
