Herndon Done For The Year

Sucks to hear, speedy recovery. Really hate to see something like that happen, you know it's killing him being a senior and not being able to play in this game.

Didn't we have some sets with both Homer and DeeJay, them in the back with a few wide would be a good set.

This is a big loss. Herndon kept drives alive in key spots and was a big target for Rosier (important given the accuracy isues). Irvin and Langham. We have to get Langham more involved (whether as TE or WR). Rosier needs big targets to throw to (particularly when his accuracy is off).

I'm going to pretend I didn't read this and just act surprised when I don't see him out there against Clemson. Otherwise I'm going to be in a very bad mood this week. Relying on Michael Irving to play well at TE. Yikes.

I don't want to be that guy but, is there going to be any point where our fan base learns how to spell the last name of the son of one of our greatest players ever? Who the **** is Michael Irving?

It's spelled Irving now. He gets it spelled Irvin when he becomes a playmaker and lives up to the name.

Got it. I knew there must have been something I was missing.

longstanding inside joke

Sucks! He really deserves to be playing in this game. Definition of a team player. Hel continue oue TE tradition in the NFL.

Feel terrible for Herndon, truly a quality player. One of my personal favorites of this past era....

We are depleted at QB, RB, TE and still getting it done.
Herndon injury is going to be tough. Someone has to pickup the type of production he delivered

Feel awful for him, such a nice guy and tremendous all around football player. Still underutilized this season and had to play with some tremendous talent at the position throughout his career. He's not the athlete that Njoku is but I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up having as good or better of an NFL career depending on his recovery.

Haven’t had a ton of injuries but the ones we’ve had have been enormous.
