Mid Major guy because the other side of his expertise (defense), is not ignored. I personally can't get past his lack of experience. However, he will be a **** good one!

Who has Herman beaten? The best team on that schedule so far is Louisville, and they had a nail-biter this week vs Wake. It should take a bit more than that, and a youtube hype video of him yelling at his players, to qualify for the UM job if you ask me. None of the players that he's winning with are his, moreover. Big risk.

i dont give a rats *** how good he is hes second best, butch would destroy his team in three seasons. turn dem over bend them backwords and smash them, then send four first rounders to the league ad do it again the next season. dot fall in love with these guys when butch is umberone option, herman is not better than butch period i dontgive a *** how fancy his o looks. i want a dominant miami not a fifty point offense and surredering thirty *** that. give me both line a scrimmage maulers with sfla speed n athletes, that was miamis best formula and it works for bama today. bring back butch period *** the rest

Same team that lost to Clemson by 3 and we lost to them by 58

Maybe not anyone's first option but absolutely a fine option...The way coaches are being fired I don't see him being available because someone is going to outbid us and probably be in line for a National Champ within a few years...

It is important. That those are someone else's players. What happens when his players take over the program? No one knows as he has no previous record of that. Look at Coker. I think he is a good candidate but it comes together, recruiting and coaching has to be there together

Herman handed Vandy worst loss of season while scoring most points on them.

34-0

UGA scored 31 with Chubb
Ole miss scored 27

That right there is impressive. He is winning without his style of players. He is teaching them the game and maximizing their strengths to win. One year is all it took.

Also, people keep asking who has he beaten. Everyone he has faced. Who cares if it isn't power 5 schools. He doesn't have power 5 talent. It's not like he is at a top program and beating small programs. He is beating schools just like his and then some. Give him power 5 talent and he may just smash power 5 schools too.

thanks Mario for the analysis

Herman, since becoming a Head Coach, has won how many games?

South Florida? Tennessee Tech? Texas State? Tulsa? SMU? Tulane? UCF? Vanderbilt?

Gee, that's a lot of powerhouse teams.

I recall Charlie Strong playing cupcakes - with a Heisman QB - got a Power 5 job - and has sucked ever since.
