Hermann is the best...

Who has Herman beaten? The best team on that schedule so far is Louisville, and they had a nail-biter this week vs Wake. It should take a bit more than that, and a youtube hype video of him yelling at his players, to qualify for the UM job if you ask me. None of the players that he's winning with are his, moreover. Big risk.

"None of the players that he's winning with are his, moreover"

That right there is impressive. He is winning without his style of players. He is teaching them the game and maximizing their strengths to win. One year is all it took.

Also, people keep asking who has he beaten. Everyone he has faced. Who cares if it isn't power 5 schools. He doesn't have power 5 talent. It's not like he is at a top program and beating small programs. He is beating schools just like his and then some. Give him power 5 talent and he may just smash power 5 schools too.

This is a great post.

Yeah, good post. All that's left for the new coach is a few years of consistency and some big wins.

Herman, since becoming a Head Coach, has won how many games?

South Florida? Tennessee Tech? Texas State? Tulsa? SMU? Tulane? UCF? Vanderbilt?

Gee, that's a lot of powerhouse teams.

I recall Charlie Strong playing cupcakes - with a Heisman QB - got a Power 5 job - and has sucked ever since.

Agreed
