Herman

Who cares what defense he ran at Houston? Everyone's solution to all of these Offense-first guys is to "bring in a great DC". Why does Herman's defensive philosophy matter at all?

Because it shows a pattern. Most coaches stay with what they know. ESPECIALLY on the other side of the ball. I did a little digging, tho and found that in addition to working under Meyer (an Offensive guy that has seemingly used a 4-3 Def. at every stop), Herman worked under Rhoades at Iowa State. Why is that important? Well, Rhoades was once a DC under Tommy Tubberville (4-3 guy). He also coached under another Offensive minded HC that employed the 4-3, in Mack Brown. But he runs a base 3-4?! How?! That says to me that Herman runs what he believes his team can do better OR what he has the personnel for, to give him a better chance of winning. Smart! I'm starting to like this Herman dude the more I read about him.

The person I mentioned went to Palmetto HS and went to college in the state. Really not that hard to figure out but some of you are not the brightest tools in the shed so...

The only guy that went to OSU from Palmetto was the RB Jaamal Berry, which is a kid that I've known for most of his life. He was Kenny Guitton's roommate at OSU, who's on Herman's staff and they still talk all the time. He says that he doesn't know anyone on that staff from palmetto and no one else from Palmetto ever had anything to do with OSU.

This guy is on the staff page on their website and went to Palmetto. Didn't play football there. Got into coaching as a student at UF

We need a defense and savages on defense in the worst way we been awful on that side if the ball slow too with cement footed players. Dudes on our team r slow as ***,yearby run like this dude wearing skinny jeans

Cuzz, that Yearby line, tho! LMAO! I will never ever be able to watch Yearby run again without imagining a dude trying to run in skinny jeans, lol!

Does your boy berry have any scoops on Herman? Cmon man, dig!

maybe that assistant director for recruiting doe. but for real. how is that woman anything of recruiting? just because she's hot?

Because you people don't know what those people do. She most certainly sets up official visits, monitors the number of contacts, etc.

One of the gems from Grassy was when TheFranchise and his group actually claimed that Pete Garcia was the mastermind behind Butch's recruiting classes. The reality was that Pete was on the admin side of it, just like this girl at Houston is.

Who were you on Grassy? And why did you feel the need to make an alternate account?

(1) NJtoFLACANE (2) I didn't want anyone to know who I was.

i remember you... You always had some very good posts, also.
I was Canelust on grassy. Keep up the good work, & I'm also from NJ

A guy with <100 posts who knows a guy? Negged.

Not trying to start anything, but weren't you the newbie who knew a guy a couple weeks ago?

Yes, but my story turned out to be spot on. I've already earned my stripes.

Earned your stripes? You've been a member for a month. Don't act like you're king **** on **** island because you told us about a BOT conference call when we all knew it was just a matter of time for Golden to get the boot. While not everyone is lucky enough to knock boots with the kin of a BOT member, you're still a month old member who has no right to walk around like you own the place. A mere 2 weeks ago, you were in the OP's shoes! Keep the egotistical posts to yourself.

Jagr is a seasoned poster on Miami forums apparently. It's just too bad he feels the need to post on an alternate account.
