Because your country literally inherits 300 million people in idk how many climate zones. The American model isnt trash, but it works because the talent is there to make it work.If the American model is so trash why do we consistently win in international sports? No one can answer that. So we win inspite of ourselves? What does that say about the rest of planets athletes?
No. I dont even know how you come up with that sort of logic. American Football and Rugby are two entirely different sports. If American Football players decided to play Rugby right now we would BUTT**** the planets Rugby teams. It would be America vs America.
There are no "the best athletes". Its borderline impossible to compare athletic endeavours from one sport to the other. Every sport has different tasks, challenges and injuries, along with different training, preparation and execution.Top level soccer players are not the best athletes on the planet. Stop it. Id put anyone on the Tour De France in that category (including drugs), endurance racers etc etc. The hyperbole is a bit much here.
If you dont see the correlation between Rugby and football.Because your country literally inherits 300 million people in idk how many climate zones. The American model isnt trash, but it works because the talent is there to make it work.

Americans dont succeed in soccer because they have a lack of talent and a lack of competition in youth leagues. Which is not surprising at all, considering kids rather go for other sports.
This has nothing to do with sports models or whatever. Most sports models work when the right talent is there. Which is why Americans do well in American Football, Europeans do well in Soccer and Asians do well in Table Tennis. And talent is there when its a national sport.
Oh my, its a bunch of big dudes running around hitting each other. If you dont see the correlation between Rugby and football.
Blessings sent.
Say hi to Fry and Lela for me.
He’s in the middle of litigation with the XFL and Vince McMahon. Luck is suing McMahon but he won’t be (nor would anyone else) considered for a job while in litigation.Lawsuit for what?
Makes sense. Appreciate you breaking that down for me @reformedsteven .He’s in the middle of litigation with the XFL and Vince McMahon. Luck is suing McMahon but he won’t be (nor would anyone else) considered for a job while in litigation.
I like you, robot. Though, I wish you were French, instead.Oh my, its a bunch of big dudes running around hitting each other.
Apart from the fact the sport is far more fluid, theres different personnel sets depending on the tournament, the ball distribution is different, the rules are entirely different, there are no pads involved, the movement of the players and the strategy is totally different... sure it might be the same.

Tell me you have never watched Rugby without telling me you have never watched Rugby.FFS
"More Fluid"
You act like line of scrimmage and a scrum are polar opposites and the option in football does not exist.
Sit down man
The USA would make the Rugby world its *****.
I would be boned.I like you, robot. Though, I wish you were French, instead.
America will win a World Cup before Brazil wins another one. The only countries that compete with the us at sport are China and the former USSR. TIt would be a dream come true for the USA to win the World Cup one of these days, only because it would **** off the rest of the world to no end. My family is Brazilian, and they would have a literal meltdown.
But it will never be. Any kid in those countries who has talent does nothing but play soccer all day every day, in the academies. As a result, top-level soccer players are the best athletes on the planet. Better than our football players, because they don't have to balance sports and school when they're developing, they only play sports.
The model you need to follow in the US if you're gonna compete is the baseball model, with its major and minor leagues, development leagues, etc. You can't rely on the school system to produce elite athletes.
The high school to college to pro model produces **** athletes. If other countries played American Football and just used the same structure they have for soccer, they would overtake us and whip our asses at our own sport very easily and very quickly. The only reason the NFL is elite is because nobody else plays the sport, that's facts. The development model for 99% of American sports is trash.
Not a chance in ****. The USA is currently behind Canada and drew against Jamaica. JAMAICA.America will win a World Cup before Brazil wins another one.

It isn’t.My thoughts exactly.
That 24/7 report is encouraging, most of all because it doesn't mention Manny getting another shot. The process is playing out and they're taking time to vet national candidates for the AD job, who will pick the next coach.
Why is that a bad thing?
People vie for power in organizations constantly. That’s kind of how it works unless you have an absolutely dictatorial management structure, and even then it happens. We are NOT going to get it right. I remember feeling hopeful after CMR retired thinking we would finally get the right hire only to watch our incompetent AD hire Manny. I was hopeful after BJ was fired but no longer. The egos of the higher ups are going to **** over the program once again. Talk of power plays between factions loyal to different people reeks of the cronyism that plagues the most corrupt of nation states. It's ******* absurd but absolutely a Miami thing.
What fun would it be if he gave up without a fight?I like you, robot. Though, I wish you were French, instead.
I would be more concerned if no search firm was being used. Thats how we ****ed up the last hire.It isn’t.
Actually how it’s supposed to be.
People can make their case for a candidate after the AD is hired, or in conjunction with, but using resources like search firms to have several candidates to evaluate is how any important hiring decision should be made.
