So we have a new AD, presumably Jurich, all but signed, sealed and delivered and some old heads on the BoT who don't even care about athletics are potentially going to **** this up for us because they're worried about perception?

I wouldn't be surprised if that happens (going to UW). But I think Auburn would go a different route. Lashlee still has that smell of Malzahn associated with him (rightly or wrongly) with a lot of Auburn folks.

I don't have a preference, I don't need one. I am not in the line of work of evaluating football coaches and hiring them, are you? Secondly, I didn't "call out" anyone for the love of Cristobal, Kiffen, Freeze and any other retread named through their agents via MSM and social media. I called out the obsession that many on this board has with coaches period, no matter the name. The biggest point is to hire an actual Athletic department first, one that is actually capable of running a strong accountable department that cares about winning. By no means should Manny Diaz be kept in any compacity to coach.

It’s crazy to me that they’re worried about perception of hiring Jurich. Like what are you afraid people will perceive that we’re trying to become a serious football team? So fuc*ing frustrating having to deal with BoT members that seem to be half retarded.

Money will win out in the end. Especially when they threaten to take their ball and go home. Shut off the valve and all the programs at UM go dry, academics too.

Especially considering the man was exonerated for wrongdoing. Even being not guilty our gang of cucks in Coral Gables still say naw I'll pass somehow 🤦‍♂️

They can’t publicly leak things about spending big money on football and will take it serious then to hire a clown. You’ll instantly lose trust from a fanbase that’s already suspect. This has to a message imo.

On one hand I want to believe we’re finally going to get it right. We can’t keep making the same mistakes. Then they come out saying everything right about spending like the big boys and whatnot.

On the other hand there’s that nagging feeling in my chest that’s saying “remember who your BoT is and what they’ve allowed to happen the last 15-20 years” and every ounce of hope goes away. Just feels like we’re about to get screwed again somehow.
