Only thing I’ll say is the notion that he has to play for Miami because of his hometown is slightly hypocritical. If we want to land any national target, there’s going to be a school he was in close proximity to but still chooses Miami. It’s more the position than anything else. Our bread and butter is oline and SFL doesn’t regularly produce top end players at this position.

Are we really doing this? When he took over Duke they had just gone 5-18 the previous two seasons and in year 1 he went 9-4, finished second in the Coastal, won a bowl game and was named ACC coach of the year.

When he took over at A&M they had just gone 6-4. Two years later he wins 11 games and makes the CFP.

He’s a douche, but it’s just silly to claim he’s not a good coach or that he’s done less with more.

South Florida for college station? If the whole family is moving just seems even more silly to move the family for 3 years and to then move again vs staying where you are.
