Here's what I know on Mark Matthews...

I been trying to tell then for weeks lol
Try years for me.
Back when there was a financial difference at NFL level it could make sense. But there clearly isn’t at NIL level (Sisi was obviously our highest paid) and is maybe like $1M/yr diff at highest nfl level…

Long as we keep cranking out top 10 classes and top 10 portal classes, we’re going to be in the playoff every year. Recruiting is a win some, lose some game. Not every hometown kid wants to stay home. It’s too much pressure for some. Seen it many times. They’ll get Olu and everyone will forget about this anyway.

I wouldn't blame him to be honest. All this hoopla is worth it when you line up in the playoffs and you have the big dudes on your side of the field, mauling people like we did A&M and Ohio. This is the pinnacle of the sport and since we been away for so long people forget the actual brawl and cutthroat nature of trying to get the elite ones.
i am a true capitalist so I admire it…. and if he chooses Miami, his representatives deserve an extra percentage point or 2 😂

It is an issue in this recruitment, but it is not anywhere near the number one issue and wont impact his decision. It's being sold that Cantwell would be gone a year before Mark anyway, so if there was still a desire to play LT he could slide over there and have a year to show what he can do. But like you said, Cici did just fine for himself at RT and very likely Mark would just want to stay put at that point if it got to that.

i've went to texas am 247 and rivals and there's no mention of a commitment ... that fact that a miami guy got the scoop (if true) bodes well for the good guys
