I really think he waits til after the bowl game to see how the defense performs. Would not have been good to fire him right before the early signing period and theirs not enough time in between the signing period and the bowl game to make that type of move. I think he's really hoping that the D performs at an elite level so that he doesn't have to address the issue of firing his homeboy after the season. A repeat performance anywhere near the NC or NC State game and I think he has to cut em.

Because that’s exactly what he did last year before firing Enos. Had a full page OpEd in the Herald that said ‘DEAD MAN WALKING: How I Plan to Replace My Lame Duck OC and OL Coaches with Competent Winners and Restore Order to the Galaxy.’

Nobody here remembers crap like that though.
