Look, I'll be the first to admit, some of the "longtime traditions" at various schools can border on the corny.
At the University of Florida, they had an old guy doing the "two bits/four bits/six bits/a dollar" cheer for decades.
Similarly, the University of Miami had the Yamma Yamma guy (Jim Fleming) for decades.
And without bias, I can say that the primary difference between the two is that Mr. Two Bits was a square old guy in a shirt and tie over Dockers and saddle shoes, while Yamma Yamma was a much more light-hearted, casually dressed (and frequently inebriated) guy who actually GOT the joke.
Yamma Yamma was great!! He did his thing during a road game one time during our walk towards the stadium. Seriously, I enjoyed it. Everyone got a kick out of it
