Here is some info on Dan Enos

Anyway, a better question is why was Manny hired as our DC, let alone our head coach. I wouldn’t say Enos was fired as Arkansas OC as much as he wasn’t retained. (Which is the norm when the head coach gets fired.) Manny on the other hand was fired as Texas DC.

I don’t think it’s crazy to expect to score more than 25 against a team that has a QB playing MLB
It's not crazy but it's dumb to blame him for the loss or use it to say he's a jag. Those that do, have an agenda.

He's only a freshman. No one knows what type of QB he'll turn into.

Agreed. Graham Harrell has USC's offense at 28th currently, which was way better then the 96th it was last year. I wish we would of got someone with a good track record but most were gone by the time manny came in. I really really wanted Kendal Briles.
Craziest part is Harrell is doing it with the 2nd and 3rd team QBs.

This isn’t true, footballscoop who has broken numerous hires , are in the know and know more than you about this particular subject said enos turned bama down

Yeah. I’m all for ripping substandard results, but these dudes are just making **** up now. They don’t even need to invent **** to make the point that the 86th ranked offense here with all the talent we have is a total joke.

If you want to see a comparison that is apples to apples and takes into account different factors for all stops, you can read about Dan Enos and his career here.

you dead *** picked out 1 stat to summarize and entire offense. I could pick any one stat and make an offense look bad or good
Scoring is a pretty important stat. It’s not like anyone’s doing the faqqy stat nerd “3rd down conversions while the moon is in retrograde” bullshyt cherry picking.

Im also curious if nick publicly stated that he was going to be the OC for them. I dont remember an article that said that. I think it was just rumors. Its possible that the reason we got him is because nick told him he wasn't going to be the OC.
Well I did here Finebaum say it.... so I'm sure it's true

How did we score enough to win when UNC finished the game with more points?
I can't believe I have to explain this, but we came from behind, marched the length of the field to score the go ahead touchdown with only 4 minutes left in the game. Anyone one watching that game, if they're being honest, thought that was the clincher. Then 4th and 17 happens.

Also, had we taken care of business, that 4th and 17 wouldn't have mattered, at all. Technically, we scored enough to beat CMU as well, but anyone with a functioning brain knows it was a **** poor effort. Our O isn't putting teams away, and when you can't do that, you lose about as many as you win. When it comes down to if you can stop them on their last drive, your O hasn't done enough. If they score to beat you, your O didn't do enough.

I'd think differently if we were losing games 60-58, but not when we are scoring 17 against CMU, or 25 against NC. We need more points.

And therein is the problem. You gotta hit on a really good qb for it to work. That to me is ****** coaching. Do more with less
People point to that one offense and it ****es me off. Of course he put up a respectable offense with an NFL QB, RB, two NFL TEs and a really solid, Bielema-built OL.

What does he do with less? That's the mark of a good OC. I mean, even in the lowly MAC where all the players are bums he couldn't put up respectable offenses.

You have to explain it because it’s nonsense. We had the previous 56 minutes of game time to score more points so it didn’t come down to the end against **** *** UNC. It’s unfortunately not a 56 minute game so we didn’t score enough to win.

Now tell me how they almost beat Clemson like a ****** team does every single year.
