Henry Parrish- 9 carries 90 yards 1TD

Parrish sent that guy's ankles into the shadow realm. Really feeling confident in our RBs as long as injuries dont' happen.
When you can run it opens up every option in your playbook.
Play action becomes a nightmare for a D , there slamming hard inside and you hit Restrepo over the top second level all afternoon long , then the home runs star opening up.
Then a good dose of Fletcher and platooning RB’s with each different running styles.

Nothing better then the 4th quarter having a lead you start pounding the rock relentlessly till DB hands on hips tired of filling hitting RB , boom home run .

YEP , pound the rock feels good

Parrish is the dependable lunch pail RB - but he's not exciting.

Fans want that excitement. So with Fletcher/Allen coming in new & getting Chaney back leads to burying Parrish a bit when hyping up the other RB's.

But Parrish was our best RB vs Miami OH. What the RB's look like vs TAMU, UNC & Clemson is the real test. It'll be late October before we really know.

Seems like a lot of people are pro Parish to me. I always appreciated his all around skillset and assumed he would hold onto the starting role because he deserved to. Just didn't feel it was in anybody's best interest for him to be racking up 20+ carries a game. I don't think he is that type of workhorse and we have other guys who can add some different dimensions to the offense making it more diverse.

Everyone is entitled to have their own favorite RB, nothing wrong with that. We have a nice group to choose from who each bring their own running style.

Parrish was the best but he is at his best when he doesnt have to get the bulk of the carries. He is the Ludacris (Rap) of the Canes. Underrated. Out there breaking ankles like AI

This run is a perfect demonstration of the strength & weakness of Parrish.

Great vision to press the hole to set up defenders, draw them in, then bounce outside. He's great at making the right read/move.

But the lack of burst/speed means the DB can completely flip his hips, do a 180, and run him down pretty easily in 10 yds. There's just not enough speed to turn the corner.

Love Parrish. Played the best overall game last week and would have him as my RB1 with fletcher/Allen/Chaney competing for RB2. after all the Allen preseason hype he didn’t play great

Y’all been sleep on Parrish. Everybody keep trying to bench him and all he does is produce. He is much better than Rooster and has been healthier than Chaney.

All the other guys are better athletes, but he is a pure football player with excellent skills for the college game. He is spectacular with the nuances of being an effective, reliable runner.

Fletcher is the future for sure, but Parrish is going to keep producing. Allen and Chaney have talent and he still won the job. We should have never let him get away in the first place. Love how he keeps proving the doubters wrong.

Who gets the most carries in any game may vary depending on who's hot that game. Parrish is the defacto RB1, and he should be. But there will be games where Allen, Chaney, or Fletcher end up being the main guy.
