Miami has to appeal this to anyone and everyone that might have a minute voice in the ACC/NCAA. It is by far the worst and most impactful call in UM history and actually out weighs the interference call in Natty. This should be changed and the two teams forced to come back on the field at the end of the year for bowl/championship implications. Despite Mario’s re*taaard (best Zack Galifinakas impersonation) of a call. Despite TVD doing one of the best 1 man sabotage efforts in UM history. This is a phuggin W. A stolen victory that should have and can be corrected. The elbow was down. That ball came out SO late and those reds were happy to give Gtech a shot. Will the NCAA do the right thing and give UM the W make the ACC must watch next week for UM be UNC. Because despite the bad game a W is what a lot of undefeated teams have been able to do in games they were expected to dominate. And that is what this should have been. Someone just please tell me there is a process and that UM is not only going to try but be extremely vocal about it to any and all media that will listen. DMoney you obviously have actual connections within the program. Please work with your contingent of insiders and be extremely vocal about how UM should be all over this. Not only appealing but speaking with all media as many times as possible and putting all info on NCAA pushback right out in the open. They need to be putting a full on press to social media and have multiple interviews with ESPN within the first 24 hours. Please reassure us normal fans that you will be working with any all BOTs/former athletes/ anyone that has a minute voice, that we must appeal and GO HAM on it.
With that said if Emory really has the goods. Coaches have to be quick to notice a mental spiral from TVD and quick to make a change if necessary. Too much talent on this team now and too many freshmen QBs who are impacting CFB games to not be READY.
On a night where TVD tried to prove that someone could purposely manipulate a point spread better than Vinny.
I told all you TVD slurpers he stares down receivers and does not go through progressions well. Luckily for him his arm strength, the total talent on offense; especially O-line (he had TIME) and Dawson play calling have and will continue to cover up some of his weaknesses and we have the talent to win every ACC game. If he doesn’t go straight depression toilet in the next couple weeks. Man…. I hate it but I f*cling told you so… I told you so. I wasn’t buying any of the pro-hype and chatter that you guys were selling. I did think he was beyond losing us games by himself after beating A&M. If he can manage to keep his head on straight he should be hoping Miami wants him back next year. Easily should have been a 6 pick game. Attempted throws that even the announcers were dumbfounded by. We should be letting it be known now to all that can hear we are #1 buyer on the portal market and Emory should be available to go and prove himself if Tyler spirals like he did last year. We have some of the most talented WRS in ACC easily. They were open all night but because of the massive amounts of zone coverage and 2 deep he had to and failed at going through progressions to 2nd third options. He is way too reliant on Xavier and while his boy is a solid slot receiver. He is not an impact playmaker. He’s not capable of turning a short pass 70 yards, or out physically playing a DB for 1 on 1 balls, or just running a route to perfection for 30 that turns into 70 because of after burners. Dawson has allowed TVD to become too reliant and obvious when passing to X, especially on 3rd down. They still get like 50% of them but it’s not even a guess. TVD is going to try and get X the ball on 3rd down. # where were the young TEs when we desperately needed some additional threats on 3rd and manageable? Colby has to be targeted more on better routes. Jacolby must be targeted more with more diverse routes. Our RBs today were not game changers. It was an average performance on the ground. The o-line played well but did not man handle the Yellow Jackets up front like stats say they should have. We only averaged 3.5 yards per carry. The backs weren’t decisive and making one cut decisions on some plays, then the Oline wouldn’t get a blast up front like they should have. I swear to god if that last run for Chaney was just to get him 100 for the night ———— I’m going to go straight, Mel Gibson - Passion of the Christ, Flaggelants around my block, until my white sheets are soaked in red.
DMONEY please, please, be vocal with UM program and let’s start an all out social media blitz. Let us know if we should all be emailing UM athletics department, NCAA, or ESPN. While going ballistics on social media. We all need to be a part of any smidgeon of hope that a WRONG can/should be rectified. And all be available if DMoney says anything might help.
To all recruits. We apologize but know this program is building. Jeremiah and Carr.:: You should know that you 3 next year (with Trader) would automatically be the best WR corps in the nation. Dawson will make sure we have this offense ready whether that’s with TVD, Emory (who could be a better pure passer already) and I believe regardless NOW whether TVD returns an ELITE portal QB who will either push TVD to greatness or push him aside. But know Dawson will find creative ways to get you the ball. The routes and plays were there but unfortunately our QB had his worst night ever. And we still won. The chances any QB has a game like that again while you’re at Miami especially if you guys are here to get open, are less than 1%. He couldn’t have had a worse game and again we won. Be ready to change the trajectory of your lives and program history.
I love UM with all my heart and there is still plenty of hope for this season. If for some reason the CFB doesn’t world doesn’t immediately make this right today…. We still have ACC championship aspirations and would really be the only 1 loss team with a legitimate claim considering the refs actually took this game.
