This is getting bizarre, guys.

I mean I’m glad we have what looks like an improvement over what we had last year.

But he has yet to punt in a game, when the bullets are live.

And even our own @Stefan Adams , who has been there to watch him practice has said so far his performance has been “mixed” - and this is with zero actual game pressure.

Honestly, I don’t even know if he can tackle. I guess it’s fun to assume he can. But I’d actually like to see one in real life. Although that would mean that his punt was returned pretty far if he’s getting in on the tackle. But still.

So before we go full on fanboy head over heels because he has full body ink, maybe we might want to see what he does in a game.

I’m all for having fun with it, ****, I’ve joined in myself with some Pelican Bay references, but at the end of the day, I’d like to see him get off some punts in a real game before I order my “bobbleheard”

I’ve joined in the fun too. Not telling anybody to stop. Just personally feel like there’s a point at which it just becomes weird. But people can do what they want. Sometimes a little reality helps though. This has been going on for six months now. I like my legends to have actually done something first.

He basically played safety in Australian football so I'm sure he's a fine tackler compared to your average punter.

And so what if he's had mixed performances. Our punters last year were consistently bad. I'll take mixed over bad any day.

Mixed performance in practice - not a game. Feagles used to boom them in practice pretty consistently. Practice is different from real games.

Look, I’m not putting him down, I think he should be way better than what we had. I’m just adding a little reality...but go back to your fun now.

I know one thing, punt return/block opposition will never truly be able to rule out a fake punt with this addition....that doesn't hurt...but definitely will be even more dangerous if he can crush punts and coffin corner from shorter distances.

Also played rugby - he can tackle... No pads, no helmet, no fear...
 
Stone Wilson at FIU last season averaged 44 yards. Good enough to be 34th in the country. Really hoping Hedley can match that.
Keep in mind his average in Juco was 38.6.

By comparison Feagles last season averaged 38.9.

I just want to see him best the **** out of a FL and FSU player or two. If he can also punt, I'll be even more thrilled 🤭

Anyone that comes from an area where lots of people are heavily tatted can tell you, there are tough guys that area tatted up and pussies who are tatted up. The posters talking about him are either joking or they are the type that crosses the street when they see a guy with a tat.
