Hedley Bobbleheard

Chuck Norris actually had championships and awards to back up the jokes.

First off they weren’t his jokes, people made them about him.( when chuck norris does push ups the world moves instead). Second don’t try and pee in my Cheerios.

LOL. Not trying to pee in your Cheerios, just let the man get one good punt in is all. Chick Norris was in his fifties before anyone started the jokes so Hedley's still got a year or two.

This is getting bizarre, guys.

I mean I’m glad we have what looks like an improvement over what we had last year.

But he has yet to punt in a game, when the bullets are live.

And even our own @Stefan Adams , who has been there to watch him practice has said so far his performance has been “mixed” - and this is with zero actual game pressure.

Honestly, I don’t even know if he can tackle. I guess it’s fun to assume he can. But I’d actually like to see one in real life. Although that would mean that his punt was returned pretty far if he’s getting in on the tackle. But still.

So before we go full on fanboy head over heels because he has full body ink, maybe we might want to see what he does in a game.

I’m all for having fun with it, ****, I’ve joined in myself with some Pelican Bay references, but at the end of the day, I’d like to see him get off some punts in a real game before I order my “bobbleheard”
Agreed! Hope Hedly has improved his average or Spicher increases his average by 4-5 yards.

Yea I don't know if he can tackle either... my comment while mostly tongue-in-cheek was based on that he's a tall muscular guy that if motivated can easily attempt a tackle. The available films on his punting at CC of San Francisco shows he has a tendency to do side kick punting effectively.
Ultimately we can only go up from where we were with Feagles

He has tats of course he can tackle!!!!

Anyone that comes from an area where lots of people are heavily tatted can tell you, there are tough guys that area tatted up and pussies who are tatted up. The posters talking about him are either joking or they are the type that crosses the street when they see a guy with a tat.
Come on dude... if you have tattoos like Hedley you can deal with pain and tackle like a linebacker.

I’m pretty sure you already know this, he changed his punting style to what would be considered “traditional“ ... although I assume he could go back to the other style if a situation demanded it.

The guy played rugby, I'm pretty sure that means he can tackle without pads. Man, that ink has a Silence of the Lambs vibe to it. I hope he flourishes here. He's older,so hopefully more mature than most college aged punters

No, I hadn’t read anything about a change in style. What I did see is that he can boom a punt pretty good in practice, and if he doesn’t get too rattled in game situations we’re gonna be in very good shape. 8/24 will be very interesting.

I didn’t read anything about a change in style either, but I’ve seen in him punting in the traditional style in all the practice vids, and apparently he was using that run to the side, sidekick style in junior college. That’s what I’m basing it on.

OCCC at this point style does not matter..............hang time, and distance in traditional and Australian styles does. We need to get on with it, and for him to show his s***. All this talk is nothing until he starts producing...
