heatherman

heatherman presser was everything we needed to fix lol dude is miserable. guidry would be talking cajun recipes and Manny would have been talking about how we were violent after giving up 600 yards
I see a lot of the "coordinator version of Venables" in Heatherman.

We came out in that first half (attitude and play calls) in the same exact way we did vs Louisville, except not as many downfield throws. The only two I remember was to Toney when he was open and Carson over threw him and one he completed on a deep crossing route to Johnson.

The coaches changed nothing except the personnel (more Tony Johnson and Moore). Otherwise, it looked the same.
Couple little wrinkles I saw in the second half. I singled out the PA throw to Lofton. It was so easy. Literally no one covered him because they were all crashing the middle.

I’m good with our identity being tuff and fizical but there’s too much film out there now to keep doing the same thing over and over.

You think it’s a coincidence Mario sucks in November here? Or maybe it’s just a lack of adjustments and too much film being out?

Anyway. Same conversations we keep having so I don’t know what else to say.

Did you or anyone else here watch the last 3 minutes of the BC vs Louisville game?

UL up by 7 points and it was a 3rd and 2 I believe. Can’t remember exactly.

If BC gets the stop they get the ball back with 2 minute timeout and 1 timeout in the bag.

With a stacked box expecting a run, Brohm called a play action to a wide open Skinner for like 10-15 yards.

A few plays later to close out the game, on a 2nd and 15, ran it for like a 40 yard TD.

Game over!!

Just a different level caller.
Gonna have to check out the highlights but the guy no doubt knows what he is doing on offense

Pull that **** next week (we will) and watch what happens.

Venables best attribute always was stealing signals. We need better DT's and LB's. Wiley should be getting snaps every game. He should be playing 5 or 6 LB's.
Once Brohm hits you with a weakness he has identified, he is going to keep coming back to it until you stop it and if you stop it, then he may still use it setting up a different primary target in that same play.
Heatherman uses his **** tablet pretty quickly to identify what you are getting him on and setting up adjustments. He is going to make money.
