Do you guys think Heatherman will stay at Miami a few years at least? I don't know if he has other higher aspirations or not but this is the most physical and disciplined our defense has looked in a long time probably a couple decades. It is a real sight to see. I absolutely love the physicality. Go canes!

Of course, only time will tell, but I'm not sure that he has a HC personality. I mean, I would love to see him stay for a while. Let's overpay the man and keep him for a while.

Isn’t this only his second year in P5? Has to put some back to back good defenses for a bit.

If it wasn’t for him, we lose by 30. This offense handicaps itself MariBro style. It’s a god**** crime what we’re doing on that side of the ball while he coaches his f^cking *** off. Hats off to Guidry and the defense, they played their absolute hearts out.

You guys that know, tell me why the defense looks so much better. Is the scheme more basic? Does not look very exotic like some things we tried in the past. Is the bottom line we are just executing better? The difference between last year and this year almost seems impossible.

I’m not a DC but what we seem to be doing isn’t really basic either. We’ve had much more exotic and creative fronts/attacks this year imo though I’m maybe just getting carried away in how well we are executing

My biggest worry is that he follows his one true love, goes on the road, and becomes a great standup comedian.
 
I feel bad for Heatherman's daughter/future daughters. Imagine how lonely they'll be when no boyfriend sticks around after walking them up to the front porch after a 1st date and seeing that dude standing in the doorway

Yeah, this is typical early season success cane fan hype. Gotta say, things do look a bit different, but we'll know after two more games.

Hetherman is the first quality DC we've had since Schiano. It's been 25 years. Props to OP for creating a thread dedicated to Hetherman. He deserves it.

Dude seems like an @ss. They type of coach to curse you out for breathing wrong…lol Dude never seems happy.

He has earned every dollar that was given to him. So far he has called really good games and the attention to detail is amazing.
