Randy Shannon would be a great hire. I know some folks will scoff at the idea. However, I recommend that they check his stats as a defensive coordinator at the University of Miami. In fact, check the stats for the 2006 team that went 6-6 . The guy was lights out. He would also pull Brooks and Brownlee back into the class.

By all means let’s hire a coach that would pull two iffy recruits back into the class.

Shannon sued UM. He’s not coming back here and he would be a terrible hire. He made his name coaching the greatest group of talent in CFB history. I could have done it.
