That was was Manny’s answer to why Rousseau didn’t play more early. “His talent is just starting to show out.”What are we asking of our kids in practice and why are we so slow to adjust when we see a kid has “it?” To quote the great one AI “we talkin bout practice.” This kid was a beast the moment he checked in. It was evident. And we are having him in a reserve spot because of a poor camp? I bet Zion is still starting because he had a good camp...
Personnel deployment is our staffs biggest weakens. Does 15 win us one of the games we lost? Idk, but I know for sure he would have put us in a better situation to win
Hmmmmm,
See, this is the bull chit that makes me mistrust Manny as our head coach. So the power of the internet is real. I'm going to post something that was said about Rousseau last year coming in as a scrawny, true freshman. No doubt, Manny witnessed this first hand.
Hurricanes freshman DE Gregory Rousseau is 'one of those freak of natures'
Since enrolling at the University of Miami for spring practices earlier this year, Gregory Rousseau has been dominant. The Hurricanes’ true freshman
And this is what was reported at Miami's first scrimmage this year:

So what in tf is Manny talking about? This is what has me worried about his tenure here. Recruits smell bull chit, and furthermore, the locker room will smell bull chit. If Manny would've said 'we didn't start Greg b/c we wanted to go w/ the older guys w/ experience initially,' I'm OK w/ that; but, to say Greg didn't have a great practice is not only disingenuous, it's a flat out lie.
