He didn’t have a great training camp

Will manny ever own it and just say hey I fcked up? He’s like skip Baylee’s blaming everyone but dak, manny blames everyone one but coaches
I would have much more respect for the man if he just came out and said "My Bad. Being a first time HC I had a couple bumps in the road in the first few games, but I learn from my mistakes and have sought to correct them. It is a continual process. Look Saban and Dabo aren't the same coach they are now as they were in year 1. I look to continually improve and make sure our team improves as well. Ultimately I am accountable, but I can ensure that we will be a better team at the end of the season than we were at the beginning."

I could get behind that.

That was was Manny’s answer to why Rousseau didn’t play more early. “His talent is just starting to show out.”What are we asking of our kids in practice and why are we so slow to adjust when we see a kid has “it?” To quote the great one AI “we talkin bout practice.” This kid was a beast the moment he checked in. It was evident. And we are having him in a reserve spot because of a poor camp? I bet Zion is still starting because he had a good camp...

Personnel deployment is our staffs biggest weakens. Does 15 win us one of the games we lost? Idk, but I know for sure he would have put us in a better situation to win
I ******* hate Diaz plain and simple! This guy is such fraud it’s unbelievable! The only good thing that will ever come from Diaz is when the string is finally pulled it will not only be his but Blake James as well for hiring this unqualified bum. The sooner the better.

He's full of it. Stuff like this is what makes people and fans lose faith in our coaching staff.

This. The fans would respect him more if he just came out and said he phucked up. "Hey folks, we love Scott but we probably should have played Greg earlier. He has been really disruptive. We still want Scott in on certain packages but we need to make sure GR is out there as much as possible. Hes a game changer"

I would respect that. Coaches make bad decisions all the time. Even the great ones. Just own it and move on. Next move he has to make is getting Bethel out of there and replacing him with Nesta.

That is the dumbest ship he has ever said. He was a beast at the spring game and we as fans have seen this since the first game. He is so much better than patch. He could have very easily helped us win one or two of the games we lost. He is that good.

I agree with everyone, that is a BS statement

When did Patchan ever get a bunch of sacks in a scrimmage? Perhaps he did but Greg was a terrorizer in every scrimmage since arriving here.
I will say that sometimes as a coach you are so deep into the minutiae that you can't see the forest because of the trees. Still doesn't execuse this incompetence though.

Sorry, but we don't exactly drop in run D production when GR is in there. Hey, in fact, didn't GR make some pretty impressive stops in the run game last Friday night? Weird, huh? Plays that Patchan wouldn't make.
Hill was making playing in the run game too, before Rousseau had that 4th a1 stopped hill stood up the guy on 3rd and short a play earlier and he had another play where he got Perkins at the line of scrimmage on a scramble plus others

Trait of dumb coaches = playing dudes based solely on how they perform in practice and how fast they can recite the playbook back to you. What's the point of being in the right place and knowing all the calls when you still cant make a play (Patchan and others)
What's the point of being the most talented when you don't know where you should be?
