Seriously? Speculating about his mental state? Drug usage? Fighting?

I know it has become common thinking to believe that getting paid means these kids give up all sense of privacy. But I get paid for what I do and I don’t have to put up with this ****.

Unverified update is he messed up again and the team leaders said no to another chance so he’ll never play a down for the Hurricanes. Disappointing. Mario really put himself out there by mentioning him so there was progress and it shows he’s got talent.

Literally set 6 figures on fire for this guy and got zero return smh.

Pickett is fine as a 3rd string DE, TBH. He's not ready to be that key rotational guy.

Scroggins has potential - we'll see. There's depth but the question is how good and ready will this depth be for game 1? For many of our DEs, they won't be. If Lowe is gone, it's down to Scroggins and Blount to fill that void. Ideally Pickett can show out during fall pratice to provide SOME reps.

Blount is going to do more than be a depth piece. I expect him to be our primary run stuffing edge setting starter. Especially with Lowe potentially unavailable.

More concerned about Game 15
 
If true, it sucks no matter how you look at it. Coach calling Lowe out positively at ACC media day shows this caught everyone off guard.

The good news, historically this would have been 1 out of 8 pieces of bad news. This year, this info is the outlier
 
We’ve got three guys who would start anywhere in Blount, Wilson and Lightfoot. Scroggins will be a key player. Davis can kick out depending on down and distance. Pickett can rotate in especially on late downs.

Lowe playing at peak potential would have made us unstoppable. But we’re still a CFP playoff level DE group to start the season and have super talented young players who could easily emerge during camp and the season to make us forget Lowe’s name.

From a size standpoint, Lowe's departure will hurt depth. He was the best option at SDE besides 🚬. We'll probably be fine for the regular season but trotting out tweeners in the playoffs isn't ideal. Hopefully we target some bigger guys(height + weight) in future classes/portal.
