Have we talked about how bad ACC officiating is

Compared to these last 2 games. If these were ACC crews we probably have 75+ yards in both games. Kudos to those other conferences just letting them play. The way football is supposed to be.

Apart from our DL getting strangled on every other play, I agree with you. It’s amazing what opponent OLs have gotten away with against us regardless of the refs. Lightfoot looked like he was on some medieval gallows on one play. JFC

I agree it’s much better, but I also think the acc refs would also be told to let them play more than usual with this being the playoffs. I think just about every pro league let’s more stuff go in the playoffs

Refs were awesome last night. 2 penalties (both on OSU) for 15 yards, amazing. I can't believe we went a game without committing a penalty after what we saw in October/November lol.

I really only noticed maybe 2 or 3 calls (PI on OSU, Bain wasnt really held, etc.) that they should have called but would rather them eat the flag if it's close. Was refreshing to watch.

Ironically, the OSU player didn’t hold Bain on that play. They mauled them on multiple other plays and there was pass interference on both sides of the ball by OSU. Miami probably got away with a targeting call. Evened out I guess.

Last night was a breath of fresh air - other than the bad replay that overturned a first down on the Beck run, I thought the officiating was really solid. They let them play and calls (or lack there of) were even for both teams. Would love to see more of that in the regular season...

No, they treat us like they’re being paid to keep us from getting any momentum or winning. They treat us like they’ve placed certain bets against us and are being encouraged to do so by the Tobacco Road Mafia.

hard to say who we want. on one hand we knocked off the big 10’s gravy train but their interest to beat the sec as top conference is an interesting wrinkle. on the other hand i don’t want another big 12 crew in the fiesta bowl because that ended poorly for us last time.
