Fat Basterd Reynolds tweeting out 4 and 5 (green/everyone else) and canesfootball.com still has the pre-storm schedule.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I am sure he is right. Probably due to not having enough security personnel until later.

Yes the times have changed for tailgating. Used to be 4-5 dudes in an old beat up pickup truck with a habachi grill and some 99 cent hot dogs washed down with Schiltz or Rainer was a rager.

Now days people have to be told to keep their DJ's in check and folks are only allowed one trip through the buffet line.

The times they are a changin'.

The tailgating time changes were a compromise that allowed them to play the game with less police involvement

i have asked Matt Porter (of the Palm Beach Post) to get more clarification and he said he is contacting the Dolphins. The concern I have is that the stadium people have stated that "Cars will not be allowed to state in front of parking lots prior to 5 pm". As many of you know, cars line up in front of the stadium parking lots way in advance of them opening. So does no staging mean they can't line up? Or does it mean they can't hang on the side of the road waiting to drive in with their buddies so they can tailgate together? If we can't at least line up in advance, then does that mean they will turn us away and we will be left to driving around the streets of Miami Gardens until 5 pm? That seems like an even worse scenario. So look for Matt Porter to hopefully clarify this.

Matt Porter just emailed me and said the Dolphins are asking fans who drive not to wait in front of the lots. Doesn't this seem a little ridiculous? So there are going to be a lot of people who are going to get there early and then what? Be turned away? To where? Get back on the turnpike? Drive around Miami Gardens? This is ridiculous. By the way, shout out to Matt Porter for responding to my email questions.
