were good QBS in college football but not NFL material. I hope they make it to the next level but not impressed with their stature. The Media have to sell a product but the creek has gone dry for this yrs NFL draft . we will see but not excited for the time being. Miami Hurricanes need to recruit real pocket passers like the good old days. I remember when the U was the elite University for pocket passers. Coach Diaz wants to get back on track. good offensive line and a good qb at the helm equals championships. A well balanced offense. Miami needs to focus on the Tight ends, I hate to say it but, the Patriots are the perfect example of that. Sometimes very boring but the results are there.

You are silly if you don't think Kyler Murray is NFL material. If Russel Wilson can do it, so can Kyler who has a better arm and way more athletic.

Your porst is literally the opposite of the current trend which is swaying to dual threat. Even the elite "pocket passers" like Lawrence and Herbert can move extremely well.

Where is Haskins slated to go? I absolutely think he has a better career than Murray IF he goes to a team that is still in the throwback mold of an offense geared toward an essentially immobile QB (Steelers, Pats etc).

I probably trade the pick or try to get value later on a guy like Lock though if you're looking for a franchise QB.

This is an interesting read for anyone interested in the QBs.
Murray actually has a very high chance of success in the NFL according to their quick analytics.
Personally I like Murray the most. Drew Lock and Dwayne Haskins about tied with Lock getting the edge for me. Then Will Grier as the 4th Qb.

Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock & Kyler Murray will be very good QB's in the NFL imo.

But the disrespect of Haskins from people who cover the draft is both typical & sad. The kid was historic throwing for 4,831yds 50TD's 8INT's at 70%cmp.

He's a pure pocket passer with a great arm & is as equally as accurate as Baker Mayfield was at Oklahoma.

Imo I'd take Haskins, Lock & Murray over Mayfield, Darnold & Allen from last year's draft.

Drew Lock has special arm talent, in the right offensive system he could have a really bright future in the league.
Lock imo is a more accurate Josh Allen. Maybe not quite as athletic though.

Call me crazy, I guess, but I too don't think Murray will end up being a strong NFL QB. Only time will tell.

My question is this...not the same graduating class, but where does Tua rank.

I may be FOS, but why am I getting a little “NFL bust” fly circling around my head.

Yes yes, I know about “tank for Tua”... maybe it’s just the contrarian in me, but I’m feeling it

CFB is a different game today, and recruiting a QB fit for the game 20 years ago, or the nfl, isn’t a good plan.
