A national title at UCF? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? Do you have an idea what it takes to win a national title? Good grief. And you're a MOD?!?!*a national title, at UCF, do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? Do you have any idea what it takes to win a national title, good grief, and you're a MOD?!?!
I remember people saying the same thing when Howard Schnellenburger said that to the media in 1979. UCF is much further along now than UM was in 79.
Fair statement, but it also took some minor miracles for Miami to win the first one and it was a completely different landscape in CFB then than now.
When schools like Michigan, ND and Oregon can't win a title I have zero expectations that UCF ever could.
UCF is strategically located in a better place than the three schools you listed above. Oregon relies on socal recruiting. Michigan and ND need to rely on landing skill position players from southern states and linemen from all over the midwest. UCF has all the talent they need to win a title within a 150 mile radius of their brand new stadium.
if you think UM has had trouble recruiting and losing kids to out-of-state schools like Bama, Ohio State, and even Louisville, try recruiting at a school that's not in a big-5 conference, that has no history and no hope of ever getting to the playoffs.
