I'm feeling less stressed when the defense has to play. Took three games but it's definitely better than the end of last season!

Dude it got to the point where I had to change channels when we were on defense last year

Bain and Mesidor are just playing on another level right now. Cant wait to rewatch this one because I’m sure guys like Blay were doing work too

We gotta win the ACC or its a bunch of same ol. We spend way too much money for this being "the corner"...win the conference, get to the playoffs...then lets talk.

Two Top 20 wins is a good start and gives the committee no excuse in the event things bank unfortunately left late in the season. We've got wins OOC that matter. Now, its just us up to us.

Bro the way the defense played that shovel pass was a thing of beauty. First play of second half too when Bain wrecked the swing pass too. Incredible to see a Miami defense play tuff & fyzikal and smart too

I think at the time the dud coordinator hires were the best Mario could do because coordinators with options had to see what Mario could do at Miami. Mario getting Heatherman is the type of hire I don’t think he could make before he showed coordinators with options something plus the boosters who are writing checks. Hiring Heatherman from Minnesota after he just had a top 10 defense and had recently signed a contract extension was a big boy move.

mario just mentioned in the postgame presser that they saw lightning in the forecast and "practiced" having a delay in the days leading up to the game- what they'd do, how they'd keep players loose, nutrition, etc. don't know if that's standard operating procedure for these big programs at this point, maybe so, but i found it impressive.

I think that was Toure on that play wasn’t it? Well the whole defense really but IIRC Toure was the main guy. That was a thing of beauty
 
Like others have said, win in November. Take care of business like tonight when you’re clearly the better team. Conference games get muddy, unless you’re seriously this good.

But I hope admin/NIL keeps their foot on the gas. Let’s get more scary MF’s in the trenches
