Don't sleep on Weldon.
Would not surprise me if Weldon is the # 2 QB and someday becomes # 1.
Weldon may not be hyped up as much on these sites, but he's a player.
 
Richt did say that Jarren was deadly accurate and even tho when he missed the wrong reads the ball was on the money. He does have the size and speed. The qb situation is like Bama's from last season.

Oh god here we go again lol ... derp derp 10-0 starter ... the only thing he has going for him is his experience but I don’t know how that will hold on up since you never know what you get with him but if you watched the spring game Jarren and Kosi were naturally on a different astral plane then rosier in terms of physical abilities and football iq

I think Jarren is ahead of N'Kosi at the same point of their careers simply because Jarren got better coaching it seems in high school. Jarren also got the benefit of coming earlier during the Spring. So it seems that he has made up ground on N'Kosi because he came much further along already. Talent wise I think they are about equal. Jarren seems to bring a little more maturity in his approach. That may end up being the difference. Fall practice should tell a lot where both stand.

I agree.

Richt said if it wasn't for that injury He suffered in His Jr. year, He would've been a higher rated recruit.

I was highly critical of Him because of His off the field stuff, but He seems to have gotten His $h!t together.

He actually won his first 11 starts, so...that's kind of the thing. 11 and 3 as a starter at Miami, against ACC level competition is nothing to sneeze at.

As it pertains to football I.Q., I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to, but CMR did say at the conclusion to camp that Rosier is the only one who really knows what to do out there. He's the only one who understands what we're trying to do on offense. And if we're going to try to run our whole playbook, Rosier knows all the reads, knows all the checks and is the only guy who can consistently get us in the right play.

That may change in the fall if everyone works on the areas they were told need improvement. And Richt did not rule out stripping down the playbook to fit another QB if he felt it would give us a better chance for success, but I caution you against just brushing off experience. It is a HUGE deal to Richt.

I'm ready for fall camp to see how everyone progressed.

FFS, you act like the guy was 3-11, to make a statement that he'll likely be pulled for another QB that is a complete unknown shows either total bias or a lack of football knowledge. I also find it impressive that you were able to judge the other guys "iq" from watching a scrimmage.

Football iq is a broad term in correlation to qb I’m referring to going through the motions and making reads instead of locking into one route or bust ...

definitely not ruling out experience that’s what he has over The younger guys right now is the knowledge of the playbook and being able to read college defenses better than the young Guys right now. What I was trying to say is I liked the fluidity of the younger guys a lot more than rosier ..

fall camp hasn’t even started there still time I’m definitely not counting out rosier knowledge of the play book and being in real game time situations is what is saving rosier rn. And it’s a pretty big game coming up you never know you may throw in Jarren or nkosi and they might fold under the big lights.. my perfect scenario is rosier comes playing lights out or at least well enough to get by lsu and we get our young qbs feet wet with the following 3 games especially with the new redshirt rule

Didn’t really mind rosier during the season and I did love his attitude and passion even with his limitations ... but that Pitt game came around and it rubbed time the wrong way for so many reasons

I know you argue the oline and homer not helping him which is true even though they dared him to throw it but just his body language and attitude toward that game and after had me triggered ngl

Then you look at Jarren, and it seems like ever since his Jr year of high school he ha done everything in his power to get better and grow as a leader. Changing his throwing motion successfully before getting here, putting on good weight while here less that 6 months, making big waves in spring, mentoring at his old high school, working with QB gurus to advance his craft, latching on to Malik to embetter his leadership, I feel like his every move is calculated to improve. Maybe I missed whatever Kosi is doing, maybe I am becoming biased, but I just don't see Kosi taking meaningful snaps for UM with the way Jarren is advancing. What do you think CIS? If I am wrong please check me.

Grown men? Seriously? I'm not saying they're kids, but I was extremely mature at 20 and FAR from a grown man. Until you live on your own and support yourself financially, you are not a grown man.
