I’m told their worst team is better is than any other team we face….
The guy is drinking the Kool aid

Syracuse rips Clemson, which LSU could barely score against, but our 3rd, which is very ambiguous, is worse then their 8th best.

Alabama is probably higher then 8th best, and FSU is lower then 3rd, and how's that work out @TheShredder

Outside of Georgia or Tennessee, I'm not seeing tonnes of strength.

So we didn’t practice the same way on defense last year?

One thing that struck me is when he was talking about Lincoln Riley. He said, "I interviewed a lot of guys like that, and sometimes they practice in a way that does not help your defense develop."

Again, the Saban practice model doesn't guarantee defensive success (see last year), but there is a clear emphasis on physicality in practice that is different from the Manny/Lashlee years.
The talent is now is now good enough for the saban method to work

I recall when Mario was on set of Gameday, he made a comment and then turned to Saban, "Sound familiar?"

It was obvious from Saban's reaction that Mario was following a similar leadership model.
To be clear. That model didn't come from Satan. Satan was a regular at our practices under JJ & Butch. That's where that model came from was JJ, refined by Butch & Sonny , implemented & refined by Satan. People seem to forget, in our days we were innovative in everything we did. The entire college football world jumped on our blue print. Not the other way around

...that everything Nick Saban talks about on College Gameday is exactly how this Miami team has been built?

Of course, emulation does not guarantee success. But the blueprint is pretty clear.
@DMoney damnit mane ur true to dis Canes/football ****! I thought ur supposed to be in Greece at a wedding but ur on here posting about College Gameday😂😂 Boi u MF! Big Pause

Our “Prodigal Son” traveled to the Mecca and worked with the Godfather himself! He (Mario) has witnessed and now understands the secret recipe for sustainable success! It won’t always be pretty, but we will always have a seat at the big table….. Where we belong!!!

He gave all of them that blueprint. It’s the execution of it that matters most. Mario being his OL coach brought a different appreciation for it.

The biggest difference with Mario is he’s proven he can recruit and close across the roster… any position.

I think it's about who is willing to adapt more than anything. Mario has proven he will adapt and change quickly. Most coaches have an ego that's too big to allow them to change.

As mad as I was when Mario left us for Bama, especially the way he did, it was the best career move he could've made. His time coaching on Saban's staff was priceless to his development as a future HC.
Yeah I don’t think he’d be the same guy today if not for that move

I think Saban really likes Mario. I'm pretty sure Saban was asked about Mario recently, and he said, "I mess with him pretty hard." Like the kids say, I **** with him (or don't **** with him). I know someone else saw the clip. But something tells me that Mario is one of Saban's favorite protégés.
Saban made Mario assistant head coach while at Bama, yes Saban loved Mario, I honestly think he wanted Mario to take over Bama after he left

this is just for the kids because this was always Miami blueprint which we lost by hiring imposter coaches. And one thing for certain, alot of people agree. None of these coaches are some genius, most of them know ball. Its all about getting the best players and have more than the other team. UGA was getting ran on and could barely pressure Ty Simpson. Lincoln Riley magic schemes dont work as much anymore. Get the best players and let them battle in practice.

100% agree, plus he gave Mario the blueprint when they were together at Bama
I know many don’t know this but there WAS a point and time when Mario was being considered as a replacement for Saban. It didn’t last long obviously, and I’m glad things worked out the way they did.

Does mario have a binder of notes he took on how to operate a top program from jj or butch like?

I know we love to give our guys credit but saban would have succeeded even if he never saw a jj or butch practice, and im sure thats not the only practice he attended

He's doing a horrible job ain't he... I still remember this great fan base and how they treated Butch too. Awfully similar. Just a bunch of whiny unemployed *******.
