Hartley getting a little defensive on Twitter

LOL...and one of those PRs He's taking credit for wasn't even a PR, it was Patchan's scoop & score vs Savannah St....seriously???

I see what you did there...not wanting to give the coaches credit for anything you claim that the scheme had nothing to do with the punt return for a touchdown. So, if one takes your logic to its screwball conclusion means you believe he would have scored if the other 10 Canes players had not even taken the field. Brother, haters got to hate, but this attempt makes me feel sorry for you.
 
Pretty weak of Hartley to spout off on Twitter when his ST’s are absolutely terrible. He’s a Blow hard. Thankful he can recruit well.

Well, you've certainly put me in my place. So, the staff is "absolute garbage", which motivates me to suggest you check-in with, like you, not so bright brethren as many of them are calling for Diaz to be appointed the next Canes head coach.

What amuses the **** out of me is you know absolutely nothing about football, and I am confident that applies to most everything else, yet you aimlessly blather on like one of those poor disturbed souls found on the street corners of many major cities.

I like that coach Hartley isn't letting people distort the narrative. He called recruits out on their behavior on social media and set the record straight about his unit. No problem with this at all.

That return was all JT. Theres nothing Hartley can point to and say it was a team effort or schematic wrinkle.

Bottom line is our STs suck. Hartley hears it, and deep down knows it.

What punt return isn’t mostly the return guy..you do realize most PR unit run and teach the same ****...our return units haven’t been a issue in 2 and a half year until JT muffed one last week.

You have great special teams units by having studs on your roster. Ballers like Mark walton or Jaquan Johnson on return coverage units. Corn elders on block units. Etc etc.. As the overall team talent on a team gets better, special teams get better. With that said we need a solid Kick off speciallist and a punter. If you don’t think that’s would eliviate the issue then your wrong. Bubba is inconsistent but has a leg.

Plenty of returns that are the result of blocking schemes or wrinkles. I'll give an ex:

One of Hartleys best moments was in the FSU game. He uses JT as a decoy to draw FSUs attention. Deejay gets the ball instead and rips off a big return when we needed one.

More of that please.

We’ve had huge returns in a couple of big games in the last 2 years. Brax vs FSU both years and others. JT had a big one against FSU along with Dallas ...and up date your info, VT is a power 5 team..and JT had one

Dude everyone in the nation runs this “groundbreaking” technique. We’ve done it b4 putting 2 guys back there. That wasn’t the 1st time. It was just 1st time someone was dumb enough to fall for it lol. It was probably the 1st time u noticed it because it worked. But we’ve used it b4

To be clear, finding the negative in everything is no more objective that finding the positive. If your default is to lean negative that’s not self awareness, it’s depression
 
He "lost" me when he was asked how he was gonna "solve" the punting problem... although his reply "Stop all the 3 and outs" is a bit amusing.
