Hartley getting a little defensive on Twitter

Thomas was obviously great Yesterday, but Berrios was a great and under appreciated punt returner. He fair caught the ball when he should have.

He also fair caught the ball when he shouldn’t have.

I think the offensive line's performance on the field of last year and this year is equal to the talent in the locker room. And when you don't have at least a mediocre offensive line you are going to struggle to win most any game. Fix the offensive line and Coach Richt will be celebrated as an offensive guru.
I think Oline is a big part. I think it’s an average group that hasn’t even been average. Special teams is awful in every aspect. The only reason we could possibly be ranked in the top 10 in punt returns is because we hardly ever return them. I bet we lead the country in fair catches over last 3 years. I still think our play calling is very predictable.

I know that. I wish he didn’t all the time, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Last week at GT is evidence of that.

Safe over sorry is for Stanford. If we don’t use our athletic advtange were ****ed, because we certainly don’t have any intellectual advtanges.

Top 3 in punt return because Berrios fair caught anything that wasn’t a total punt coverage bust. Total punt return numbers are average at best. Thomas On the other hand has been great.
I don’t think the returner is the problem. The unit as a whole sucks.

Well, then who is going to correct the constant stream of lies and negative comments concerning UM's football program that is sold as truth?

Are you for real? You think every team in America doesn't have fans doing the same? Do all these teams have coaches sitting around responding to every negative tweet to set it straight?

Coaches need to focus on their team and task at hand. If Hartley wants to respond to things like that, post a general tweet about the positives of the special teams the last few years. Direct the attention in a better way. Spin the rhetoric in a way that is more beneficial. Responding to specific Twitter trolls is a waste of time and a bad look for a coach who should be spending more time breaking down film of his special teams, recruiting and coaching.

A spectacular and inspiring punt return!

And like clockwork, the self-proclaimed football geniuses spin this situation into an opportunity to attack the special teams and anything else they can cook up.

Further, when Todd Hartley knocks down one of the geniuses who falsely suggested it has been 5 years since a punt return for a touchdown he's attacked for stating, F-A-C-T-S!!!

Todd Hartley must learn that when haters are on one of their constant hostile rants about anything UM football introducing truth immediately sets up the purveyor of said truth to be a "slurper" (whatever the **** that means).
What he said

What he said

Only that Bass clown would commend Hartley responding to internet trolls after the game. That may have been the most pathetic thing I’ve seen from the staff yet.

The programs floundering in mediocrity and he’s posting about how there’s unjust negativity from the fan base? Some conspiracy? Jesus ******* Christ

Hartley with the rabbit ears on. Our coaches are holed up in their failure bunker telling each other how great they are.

Thomas making a superhuman play on his own doesn’t negate the overall cataclysmic level of fail that is our Special Olympic Teams.

imagine if you're making 100k-200k+ a year and after a game you jump on F*CKING TWITTER TO START ARGUING WITH FANS

I can't fathom this sh*t, If I was in the NBA or some crap special you think i'd be sitting back on the f*cking couch with my legs propped up looking to get into d*ck measuring contests with passionate fans?

sigh..
100% correct. I'd be messing with all the freaks and getting my party on. The only time I'll check my Twitter is to see what nude pics the groupies are sending.

Check the average starting field position for opponents against Miami and come back to me captain underpants.

Well then we have to bring the defense and offense in the conversation, should your risk reward the other team with the ball in good field position. Is your defense legit? (Yes)

Can your offense make up for a mistake? (No)

The offense has been abysmal all year,....so unfortunately, you're going to see less risks taken on special teams with things like blocked punts and returns.

These issues are all collective.

No disrespect to Berrios, but I wouldn't be beatin' my chest on Twitter over punt returns vs FAMU & Savannah St....but hey, to each His own.
