I think they just loaded his contract with incentives and lowered his base. One incentive was beating OSU, winning the B10, making the playoff, etc. I'm sure he did well salary wise this season.

He's 61-23 overall, & 42-17 in Big Ten, I'd say He's exceeded expectations with what He's had to work with, that entire State is a talent wasteland.

I highly doubt this would happen, but if it did as a Raiders fan I'd be stoked. I hated the John Gruden hire from day one and knew it would fail, even before the firing.
