But would ownership fire a HC that made the playoffs Year 2? Especially with all the injuries the Chargers suffered?

Payton....I just don't see it happening, especially with him allegedly wanting Vic Fangio to be his defensive coordinator. Could Vic come back? I mean, Wade Phillips did it but there was a lot of time that passed. Vic was just fired last year.

I’m an eagles fan so I see his offenses a lot and I think he’s brilliant. Dak is pretty **** stupid. He’s irresponsible as **** with the ball. Ive been hoping to get him out of the NFC East. He puts pressure on all three levels of the defense.

Yeah, I can't think of any player, especially QB, do such an obvious job of actively TRYING to get his HC fired.

The last time I checced, I still an NFL job. It ain’t but 32 of them in the whole world. Especially for guys that are not currently in the NFL. There will be good coaches interviewing to try and clean that mess up,

NFL isn’t like the NBA where sometimes if you hold down your spot and toe the company line during a tank, they let you keep the gig. No coach with cards in his hand is taking that job. The penner Walton group can eat his money after next year if need be.if they really want an hc they can throw a stupid contract at them and make the individual say no.
