Not to be a **** but how is this newsworthy? There's gotta be 1,000 kids going through the same thing
 
Weaver's a two-star DE from Fort Lauderdale. Only has 9 reported offers, none of which are from FSU, Miami, Florida, UCF, South Florida, or even FAMU.

Harbaugh's mistake was accepting a commitment from this kid in the first place. Just sets up bad PR down the line.

none of the kids ever actually expose the coaches words and actions though most just decommit and thank the University.

Fair enough. It's always interesting when **** gets put out there. But yeah, this is a tough time of year for a lot of players and coaches. Numbers game gets pretty cutthroat.
 
May have something to do with Josh Usche commitment to Michigan today since they both play DE. Seems as if he truly was Plan B for Harbaugh and Usche was a priority.
 
I coached him last year. (was his DC)

Nice kid but I (we) were kinda surprised that Michigan offered him in the first place. He never seemed like a good fit to me. Maybe they watched his whole game film and had second thoughts.

I wouldn't mind seeing him go to Syracuse to play with my boy Dowels but he's crystal balled to Temple, which is a pretty good fit for him IMO.

What's would be slimy is waiting until signing day to tell him they don't have a spot. He probably knew this was the case for a while, but hoped for the best. Either way, it happens quite a lot and it's no fun being in this young man's position, but at least he has other options.
 
Harbaugh hosed that kid as he continues to try and upgrade... Everybody knows chit happens, but you don't dump kids you recruited and accepted their commitments 2 weeks prior to signing. That's done months ahead of time to give the kid a chance to recoup...

Urban Meyer does this every day and puts up top recruiting classes year after year. UM just trying to keep up

If he was doing the hat dance, or what Bruce just did to Miami, would you still come here and call it a sad state of affairs AND call Bruce slimy?
