Harbaugh facing 6 game suspension

Yup. Even Nix got a second season, and I don't recall the hate for Nix ever being as bad as the hate for Gattis (which, to be clear, he has earned).
While Nix's offenses were terrible and plenty of fans absolutely despised him and wanted him gone, I think there were several factors that make fans despise Gattis more:

1) Nix's offense was bad but he had some pretty talented players that could at least make it look ok every now and then by taking one of his 40 bubble screens a game and breaking it for a TD

2) Nix was a much more likeable guy off field than Gattis (less so that Nix was likeable and more so that Gattis is very unlikeable)

3) Expectations for this season were high. We all saw what TVD did last year and figured that the offense should at least be the same if not better and instead it was absolutely terrible. Combine that with the defense playing worse than expected and the team doing so poorly overall with the offense being the biggest easiest (deservedly so) place to blame..

I guess a team not in the $EC can whip Ohio State’s rear end twice in a row without an investigation (#sarcasm).

One possible hiccup is that Michigan is a private school and not bound by FOIA requirements. They never have to publish the findings, niether does the NCAA

The University of Michigan is private?

News to me...

Can a school be named after a State without a directional (ie southern, northern,) and not be public? I can’t think of any. Obviously if it has State in it, it is a public school, but then you have University of Florida, University of North Carolina,

USC is private but is named University of Southern Cal

Not a shot @tsimonitis, just got me thinking about that topic lol

LMAO, I have never experienced a UM coach hated so much...

Stick around.

I recall - Clappy. Then Radar. Then Golden. Dorito - he was BAD. And that doesn't count other assistants, coordinators, AD's, University Presidents on and on, and on.

Oh.

And it was all justified!

Been a fan for over three decades and you're telling me to stick around, lol.

None of those coaches were more disliked than Gattis.

You're speaking for yourself, of course.

I have no absolute proof - but - I'm pretty sure not EVERYBODY was Kung Fu Fighting.

For those saying he is NFL bound, couldn’t the NFL hand him a suspension as well, just as they once did with Jim Tressel after he was punished by the NCAA?

as it should. most programs were doing it. maybe not to the extent ASU took it, but everyone was breaking the rules.
I disagree. Manny and his gang did no coaching that year, and tried to do as little as possible in recruiting. We're safe.
