This season isnt supposed to be some crowned type team, right now goals in a covid type season was to get fiu/duke/la tech taste out of our mouth, smoke n mirrors to as many wins as possible and try to get as good as possible recruiting class as possible to set up for future. We need infusion of top elite playmaking talent.. we are limited on playmakers to be elite but we can get there.. Our best players cant be 1 year rental transfers as valuable as they have been.. We need to recruit and develop

I think we have the talent to be where we are but we’re not a focused team in anyway this will only carry us so far .

Once we take ownership of our jobs and focus we can BEAT all the top 5 teams but until then I think we’re MAXED out at #9 till we focus.

We play a top 5 team know it would be VERY VERY UGLY .

It's fun being 7-1 and we might keep a recruiting class which is huge, but what's the average age of the people incessantly posting the record? 9? We've seen this story before.

**** O line, undisciplined, no playmakers outside, no running game, mediocre DB's, a lack of turnovers needed in the defense, sack numbers down, weak linebackers that struggle against the run and in coverage. This team is full of holes. King is saving us and giving us a good ride this year. But if you're not concerned about more than a few areas on this team you just haven't been around this game/team.

Elite teams that are usually 7-1 in solid conferences have a fraction of the holes this team has.

when you have a poll that ranks 25 teams, you have to rank teams in those slots. the point of the game is to win, period. OSU in 2002 went undefeated in the regular season with a **** ton of close games. Than beat, arguably, the most talented team ever in CFB history. Just win man, find a way to win. This team is certainly top 25 stop already

Ohio taint didn't beat us
 
Based on 7-1, we certainly deserve to be ranked in Top 10, close wins over avg teams or not. That said the difference between teams ranked 5-15 (like ourselves) and the top 5 teams (Bama, Clemson, ND, OSU, UF) is a mile
 
We are not a top 15 team. Recruiting for the oline. Capiche.
DIAZ wake up. The defense is tired to bail you out.

I’m convinced..you guys do not follow CFB..my guys every top 15 team is not Beating teams by double digits week in and week out..that’s never been the case in cfb
 
WHAT happened to our running game. None cause of lack of balls on the oline. Simple as that.
