I also liked American Thanksgiving way better growing up. Like I'll take the day off of school and the day off of work, but American Thanksgiving was awesome. A couple of years I made my Mom make a turkey, I always pretended I was sick so I didnt have to go to school Thursday and Friday. One of my fond memories as a kid was watching Miami v Bc after staying home from school on the friday after thanksgiving and just hating Flutie. I wish Miami had a consistent Thanksgiving weekend rival. Oh well.

Anyways to the Canadians. Happy thanksgiving, enjoy the hockey I guess. I'm leaving soon to my wifes family turkey dinner.

We the North?

How bad is Canada that the Klaw had to get out of there even after winning an NBA 'ship?

LOL

Taxes, taxes, and more taxes. But hey, we have "free" healthcare.

As for Thanksgiving Day here, it just does not compare. It's not nearly as big a deal here as it is in the US. I miss the US Thanksgivings. In fact, we celebrate the US Thanksgiving here more than we do the Canadian one.

Spoken like someone who has never been to Toronto. Kawhi wanted to go home. He had interest in returning up until the moment the Paul George trade went through. He was always going home if the Clippers improved their roster.

How's the treadmill going Heat fans? Must be really exciting to see a team scratch and claw to get the 7th seed in a trash conference.

Don't care what they call the Holiday. A day off is a day off. Enjoy.
Love American Thanksgiving weekend football. Been a Canes fan since the 60s, but I used to enjoy watching OKL/NEB play Thanksgiving weekend back when they were both in the Big 8. Usually was a great game that almost certainly decided the Big 8 championship. Several times, The U got to feast on the winner of the game in the Real Orange Bowl

I've been to Toronto, it's nice. Montreal was a joke. People acting like it was Paris.

As a Toronto resident I can confidently say Montreal has better food than Toronto. Culturally it's nothing like Paris and French Canadians are nothing like Parisians though.

Went on a baseball stadium tour, back when the Expos were a thing. The people in Toronto were very nice. The people in Montreal, needed their azzes kicked. Rude beyond belief. And I've been to Paris too, the Parisians at that time, were nice to Americans. Montreal not so much. YMMV.

Gonna crack a Lablatt Blue and watch a little Trailer Park Boys in my 1988 Mario Lemieux Wales Conference NHL All Star Game jersey. Feel free to send over some Tim Horton's. Sherko refuses to come make poutine. Is still bitter about his franchises not taking off or something.
