Gus is like an old clown uncle, and without a Cam Newton type QB he will be inconsistent. Heupel was unappreciated by UCF fans because they loved Frost so much and Frost was a more dynamic and more aggressive play caller than Heupel. He had a killer instinct. Frost just had a great feel for the players and plays with more vertical attacking and usage of the entire field where as Heupel tends to play wide with a shorter passing game and safe vertical throws. Both are good, but Frost imo can be super special with FL type talent.

Frost was also building a beast team with recruiting. Heupel isn’t a recruiter, but his style will attract talent

I know that if you’re a projected first round QB (TVD) you need to adjust to different offensive systems and figure them out as that’s how it is in the NFL.

But Gattis also is not doing him any favors. Watching this Lashlee offense and how he takes advantage of what the defense gives you is just refreshing and wish we would do the same.

Not saying the Lashlee offense is the end all be all but we have to take some of those concepts since we have sh*t skill position players right now and help them get easy yards in the passing game.
