Is it just me or is Coach Gus Felder more articulate than our previous three head coaches...awesome interview.

"We've made great strides" is a really great way to say "we're still kinda doughboys".

"...try to make them understand their why...".

Felder appears to be a student of Sinek I see. That statement alone shows he has a strategic vision, operational plan, and tactical performance expectations (or he is parroting someone who does).

If he puts 1/2 of the deeper layers and subtext oh what he expressed in this interview, he will help the current athletes reach their full potentials. If that translate into more wins on larger stages (say just truly be competitive in the Coastal come November for starters), watch out when recruits start rolling in with stronger baselines and higher ceilings than some on the roster now.

Wow. Love this interview. Coach is a class act, he took the hide road on Swasey questions. I didn't hear one excuse and clearly he is confident in his abilities and methodology. Great to hear some of the names he highlighted. Would love to see Stan and Jamal put it altogether for their last years and blow up. KC could be the mauler we expected and loved hearing some of the younger guys being mentioned. Again, Coach Felder is a class act. The parents of current and future players should feel very at ease with Coach mentoring their children and I bet they do. The Canes are blessed to have him in the program.

Go Canes!

Just saw a picture of Gordinier on Twitter, crown Gus Felder. 6 months of Gus and this kid looks like an NFL linebacker. Love to see some of the other guys.

Christness, fuzzy bunny, Fred down street can defind, defund, or defunk him...

Man is saying all the right things...giving the right impression...now the Canes need to see that translate into increased performance for this tilt and in the season's ahead...

Go Canes.

Haven't seen him play other than HS film, but for some reason I think he blows away expectations. I don't understand why there are some posters who have written him off. Can only be good for us if he's a player.

People have written him off because he's a white guy from NJ. And people are thinking he "blows away expectations" because he's a white guy. Just depends on your slant going in because there's really nothing to judge him on either way.

I'll say this about Big Gus. He's got a magnetic personality, and that's half the battle when your main job is motivating guys to do **** they don't want to do.

Richt saw something in him when he was an assistant on the staff of that hyped bozo at UGA last year. Richt must have realized at some point that Gus was better than the main guy.
