Just saw a picture of Gordinier on Twitter, crown Gus Felder. 6 months of Gus and this kid looks like an NFL linebacker. Love to see some of the other guys.

Haven't seen him play other than HS film, but for some reason I think he blows away expectations. I don't understand why there are some posters who have written him off. Can only be good for us if he's a player.

People have written him off because he's a white guy from NJ. And people are thinking he "blows away expectations" because he's a white guy. Just depends on your slant going in because there's really nothing to judge him on either way.

Guy could be plaid for all I care, but I get your point. As a fan I tend to want the recruits to succeed, it's good for Canes. If he doesn't have the agility for LB his size could allow for him to move to DE. We've had some good "white guy" DE's over the years, well, years ago, decades.

You can see his frame is pretty big. Kid came in looking like a HS kid, but he looks like a man in that picture. I agree, possible move to DE if he gets any bigger.

Glad he gave props to swasey... While opinions on previous staff(s) differ heavily, it wAs classy not to pick on an easy target and give props to a tenured UM representative. Further, I'm excited to see what difference, if any, he can bring to our team.

There you go again...another person assuming agility is question because he is white! Got news for you...they did combine drills last week and he posted the fasted times of all LB's in the linebacker cone drills

That is because he was smart and gritty. Just not possible that he might have quick twitch fibers. Cones must have been placed 300 yards apart and it was an endurance test.

I am shock that some of you are not putting down the fact that he is another Penn St guy. Even quoted the evil Joe P. The guy is from the North so he just will not be able to get SoFlo guys to run fast because we all know that guys in the North ( White or Black or Mixed) can not run fast except in the cold. Sarcasm for those of you who are slow on the roll.

Interesting that they train for a 17 week season. That is about the length from the first game to the Championship game.

When was this taken? Young is in the picture so I assume a few weeks ago? But also, props to Jamie G, kid looks big. KC definitely looks like he lost the fat and gained muscle. Meanwhile that used car salesman wanted it the other way around
