I would argue that the players looked flat coming onto the field. They didn’t come with much in energy even warming up. It was a bizarre feeling. You would think that Manny would give them the good ole salesman pitch to pump them up but it didn’t seem that way.

You can bring in Saban, Bear Bryant, Jimmy Johnson, Bellicheck or whatever legendary coach and they wouldn’t do anything without a change in the leadership. The top has to want to invest in winning. Look no further than FSU, they didn’t want to invest in football, while they were at top and lost Jimbo. They have sucked ever since. Management has to want to throw money and want to compete.
