The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook updated its early odds for the National Championship and UM went from holding 25/1 odds to win the title back in early January to 40/1 on Monday

Bama with a stud quarterback the next two years is going to take a great effort from someone, or an off day from them.

I can't wait for the day that all the South Florida kids stick around and we have a legit QB to give them a run for their money.

YEP, I can still remember the recruiting year we had to decide what stud Florida HS RBs we wanted to take out of Armando Allen, A.Easterling and Noel Devine. We got NONE, lol

To be fair we would have got Easterling if not for that whole statutory rape fiasco

STOP with the we should get ALL the South Florida kids. We NEVER HAVE, and NEVER WILL

SFL is the prime recruiting area in the nation.

There's just too many good one's here for our scholarship limits and just too many big name schools that have SFL as one of their prime recruiting areas.

As long as we get our fair share, like last year, we'll be more than ok.

Face it, even recruiting machines with huge resources like oSU lose recruits from Ohio, likewise, LSU in Louisiana. or Bama in Bama. So many issues involved like coaches, school size, wanting to get away from home, curriculum, friends, $$ etc, etc. that locking down any area is practically impossible

As for Malik starting, I've gotten to the point that I can accept it IF it happens and that shouldn't prevent us from having an outstanding season IF...

Since now we do have viable options at QB that the staff has confidence in, I doubt that CMR will hesitate to remove Rosier and play someone else whenever he falters instead of just hoping to ride it out. In short, a very short leash.

Our coaches aren't stupid and I'm sure they don't want a repeat of last year. With competence on the bench now CMR has options and shouldn't feel wedded to any QB

Easterling wouldn't have lasted long at Miami anyway. Shannon would have booted him 1st quarter. He has calmed down big time, but Easterling was a major hot head in school. He was starting fights at Chubbys, the moon, and Bajas every week. And once he got riled up, the police were the only ones calming him down. Im talking punching car windows out and flashing guns. All the police would do was tell his homeboys (Nigel Brandham, Gred Reid, Nigel Carr, and Rodney Smith) to put him in the car (cause half the time he was ripped) and take him home. He also popped off that brawl with the sigmas in the student union.

40 to 1 are nice odds for Miami. We are still a one game to the playoffs team. I see no reason for us to be worse than last year also we beat Clemson and we are in. The risk is a hang over from those last three games. We can’t lose early. I’m not big sports gambler but I might lay a thousand on that. 40k would make a nice bankroll for the casino to start 2019.
